If you want to have a true experience of the Chitwan National Park with the best local guide who is passionate about the jungle and has a ton of knowledge about the wildlife, then this is the best place for you! Bishnu (the owner of the lodge and guide) is truly amazing! He started answering any questions I had even before I arrived at the area. His wife and his kids are truly adorable and they made me feel like being at home. I went with Bishnu in a half day jeep safari and a full day walking (and boat) safari, as well as some other activities like bird watching. Even if we were not lucky enough to see a tiger, we saw many rhinos, deers and monkeys! Bishnu knows every corner of the forest and he was explaining to us every detail and answering any questions we had. While other guides may show you only the basics without putting much effort, Bishnu is trying his best to find the best spots in the jungle so that the guests could have the greatest experience! One day of my 3 days stay, I was the only guest and Bishnu arranged extra activities especially for me so as not to get bored! Last but not least, the food was fresh and homemade, and it was the best food I had in Nepal! These 3 days full of adventure and great hospitality, was the best part of my trip in Nepal and makes me want to visit Nepal and Bishnu again in the future for sure! Το Chitwan Village Resort περιβάλλεται από πράσινο και βρίσκεται απέναντι από τον ποταμό Ράπτη, μόλις 300μ. από την περιοχή σαφάρι στη ζούγκλα του Εθνικού Πάρκου Chitwan. The staff were incredibly friendly. It was just a short 5 walk to the river and to the restaurants and shops. They arranged all the tours to the park. Great value and family friendly. Sitting around a campfire at night and talking with other families and travellers was very memorable. We love this place!

Beautiful modern hotel in lodge style design, nice big rooms and always clean and tidy. The staff in areas of this hotel are extremely well trained and courteous. The restaurant staff are all fabulous and it would be unfair to mention any individual but can’t name them all, so a 5/5 for every single one of them. My wife used the spa for 2 treatments and she thought it was excellent with very lovely professional staff. We did two safari tours one by elephant and one by jeep., both were excellent and a special mention here for our guide Suki who was extremely knowledgeable and we were lucky to have him for both of excursions booked with the hotel. I recommend staying at the Soaltee West End to anyone who wants top level service and care from arrival to departure.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Traveller Jungle Camp. The place is beautiful — our room was spacious, clean, and equipped with air conditioning, and the garden was simply mesmerising. The guesthouse is run by a lovely family who took care of us aux petits oignons. They helped us organise our safari, arranged our bus to Kathmandu when tickets were hard to find, and even picked us up from the bus station free of charge. We were incredibly lucky to stay there during the Tihar festivities and were invited to celebrate with the family — not as mere guests, but as friends. It was one of the most memorable experiences of our three weeks in Nepal. If you get the chance to stay with this family, consider yourself truly blessed.
