Check-in/ out process is very easy. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and functional. Location is not far from center.

Among the eight different accommodations (motels, serviced apartment, hotels etc.) I stayed during my 2-week New Zealand trip, this place is on the top two :) Highly recommended!

Located 46 km from Mt. Dobson, Tekapo Luxury Apartments offers 5-star accommodation in Lake Tekapo and features a garden. The bedrooms were great with a view of Lake Tekapo and the scenery on the other side. The location of the apartment was also within walking distance from restaurants and a convenience store.

Featuring mountain views, Amore Tekapo features accommodation with patio, around 45 km from Mt. Dobson. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. We stayed here as part of a huge road trip, and if we could have lugged this apartment round with us I would have. It was absolutely perfect. We had 3 rooms, 2 of which were ensuite and one which had a disabled bathroom accessible from the hall. There is a very spacious kitchen/dining/seating area which is light and clean and very comfortable. Everything you need is provided, even tea and coffee making items, also a washing machine. It’s a bit of a hike up a hill from the lake but we had a mobility scooter with us to slow us down, I don’t think we would have even registered the walk otherwise.
