Issa is an extremely kind and accommodating owner. PERFECT stay! Definitely the best camp in the desert. Simple good meal and very large quantity !

Location and remoteness differentiated this property from other desert resorts in the same category. Rooms were very comfortable.

Το Sama Al Wasil Desert Camp βρίσκεται στο Shāhiq και προσφέρει εστιατόριο με μπουφέ. Περιλαμβάνει πινγκ πονγκ και βελάκια. Το κατάλυμα διαθέτει καθιστικό. Charming, great atmosphere, clean and beautiful place! Amazing experience! They offer super tasty food (breakfast + buffer dinner with camel bbq!!) and cinema under stars. There are camels living by the camp, you can also have a ride with them or just per them of you like! The camp offers pick up service from the village close by, all perfectly organized. At the place you can book additional activities- we took sunset watching at dunes for 30min, price 21rials per car (up to 3 adults) so very reasonable amount. It was great experience and much recommended for everyone! The driver - Khalid was driving by the dunes, he is originally from this area and knows desert as his own pocket 😊

The camp was the closest to the main road so we only needed to drive about 2km off road before we reached the camp. This was great because we did not have to leave our car at the nearby town and wait for transport. We were upgraded to the Royal tent when we booked for deluxe tent. Staff were friendly and food was good! The tent was big and comfortable :) We also signed up for Desert safari tour. Our guide, Mana, could speak good English, and he brought us around the desert for dune bashing, going to bedoiun houses and taught us about bedouin culture. My husband asked about camel milk and he immediately drove around the desert, asking the various bedoiuns if they could spare some camel milk for us to try. Amazing man, he was! Highly recommended to stay and go for the desert tour. We also signed up for the sunrise camel tour which was surprisingly fun! We placed our 3yo in a carrier and rode into the desert together.

Everything just great, from the appartment to breakfast, pool, the complex, extremly nice personel etc. The desert drive is wonderful. It is absolutely no problem to drive there yourself. Just go to the tire shop close to shell gas station and ask them to lower the tire pressure. The drive is quite easy, dont worry. With me maps.me you can navigate, the road is depicted.

Exceptionally friendly and helpfull staff! Other guests were very nice. The atmosphere is relaxed, pleasant and private. Tea and coffee making facilities are available on demand. They make buffet for dinner, the variety of choice is really good for a desert, but sometimes some food was too salty or spicy. Fresh fruits and arabian coffee with dates were available along the day at reception. The dinner is late, after 8 pm, but you can have tea with sweets at the fireplace and chill after sunset. Breakfast starts after 8: english breakfast, fruits, hummus, cereals. There is a kids' playground and toys for playing in sand and toy car. Our toddler was absolutely happy and enjoyed every minute of our stay. This place can be easily accessed by a small sedan (Hundai Accent). Follow the hotels' instruction, don't believe google navigator.

We spent 1 night at Desert Nights and it was amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful and clean, the food is good/has a lot of variety , and the activities are very fun. We did ATV riding in the desert and had a great time. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Would highly recommend!
