Located in Hualien City, 1.2 km from Nanbin Park Beach, Hualien Pink Corner Hotel provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a restaurant. The little lounge space with free snacks and coffee and drinks was a nice touch. It also allowed us to refill our waterbottles rather than buy more bottles. The staff here was really lovely and kind too.

Set within 300 metres of Manbo Beach and 18 km of Pine Garden, The Moment Hotel Hualien by Lakeshore provides rooms in Shunan. Super helpful front desk staff next door. They helped us check in and told us all about things to see and do in the area, and about a dance show that evening and any and all dining opertunities. It was nice that they let us use the pool/hot tub in the more expensive hotel next to us, and let us use bikes for 2 hrs for free. The location on the beach is lovely. The pool was so nice and clean. The view of the ocean was gorgeous and the hotel looked dramatic against the mountain behind it.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and mountain view, Yen Hotspring is set in Ruisui, 2 km from Ruisui Railway Station and 12 km from Fuyuan National Forest Recreation Area. The room and beds were very comfortable and the Japanese style design was beautiful and peaceful. We loved the hot spring in-room bath, and the Japanese-style breakfast was delicious.

Hualien Tourism Sugar Factory Hotel has free bikes, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Guangfu. I really enjoyed my stay there. A traditional Japanese-style house for myself. I loved soaking in a Japanese-style bath. Breakfast was rustic but delicious. Nothing fancy and may not be for everyone, but it was a great experience! (As a Japanese, it reminded me of my grandma's old house.)

Love that it's an adults only resort and set in the middle of the fields. Each unit is huge and has a really nice tub and steam bath in the room. There were also bikes and afternoon tea. Breakfast was fabulous!
