The property was exceptionally clean and modern like a Marriott with some Vietnamese aesthetic touches. The reception area was very welcoming and festive with Christmas decorations. The rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Best of all, the shower temperature was perfect! The receptionists Dung and Hung were very friendly and helpful and offered history and recommendations on things to do in Ha Long Bay. I ended up booking a Ha Long Bay day cruise through the property which picked up and dropped off at the property.

Lam helped me find a sleeper bus to Da Nang, which was very convenient since it departs directly from Ha Long. The swimming pool is what I liked the most. Breakfast is served right in the lobby on the first floor.

We liked every single detail of our trip, but the crew is especially nice. The suites were very good and the food was amazing. My kids (age 2 and 3) were always treated with respect, even though they were running all around the cruise. Sleeping in Halong Bay is one of the most peaceful experiences I have done in my life. I totally recommend this experience and the Paradise cruise.
