The accommodation had everything we needed and more. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all that we needed to cook meals or to braai. Edith and Warwick were great hosts with great attention to detail, making our stay a memorable one. Yzerfontein is truly a special little village. The view was beautiful, and we loved seeing the little bits of natural nature. We will definitely be back 🌊⛱️🥂

Mike was an exceptional host always asking if everything was ok(in a good way) also answered most of our questions we asked for the area .The location was awesome lots of bird life ostriches,flamingoes to even otters visiting the garden in early hours of morning .also perfect fishing hot spot.Nice and peaceful for some quietness away from the city life .we even took a walk from river tides accomodation along the river towards port owen for sunset photos .will definitely recommend!

Boasting sea views, The Beach Shack Glamping & The Boat Shed features accommodation with patio, around 40 km from Columbine Nature Reserve. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay. A few meters away from the water, with everything we needed for a "glamping" experience. I loved the patio furniture with the umbrella, making hours of reading, listening to the ocean and watching the birds an unforgettable experience. The bedding was crisp, the room spotless. Blue, the resident Boerboel, was the absolute highlight of our stay. No microwave, but an electrical frying pan made up for it.
