Loved my stay at the Palm Beach B&B. Avalon and Rudi are wonderful hosts, very helpful with directions and always up for a chat. Perfectly located in Palm Beach, the accomodation is spacious, impeccably clean, and boasts great views. Breakfast with the birds was an unforgettable experience. What an amazing place to stay whilst we were in Umina for 4 days. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The decor of the property, with so much attention to detail gave a warm, inviting ambiance. As we were in Umina on business, we couldn’t wait to finish for the day and go back “home”( because that’s what it felt like). I personally enjoyed reading all the books that were placed around the house. Both indoors and outdoors was spotless, a credit to the hosts. Our communication with Koreen was outstanding. Nothing was a problem. We would highly recommend Once Upon a Tide( great name, by the way!) to anyone looking for a place to stay whilst in Umina.

We recommend! Beautiful guesthouse with everything you need. We are huge coffee drinkers, and they provided both coffee and milk, as well as some water. Location is great with a bus stop right outside the house that leads to all the nice beaches. Would defenetly come again!

The location is amazing, heaps of cafes and food around nearby, also not too far into the Sydney City and to Taronga Zoo.The size of the house was great, lots of room and the kitchen was a great size to cook and prepare dinners and lunches. The house was very clean and nicely presented, from when we first arrived we were given a warm welcome which made us feel safe. cannot wait to stay again. Thank you Gary and Jenny for the best little trip away!
