Everything was perfect. From check in to the facilities and room. Everything was spacious and clean. The hotel is located in a magical place with great views. you can also feed the farm animals if you ask to. Overall, it exceeded my expectations! Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Lovely town that is super calm! With food options and 2 big supermarket. Room is cozy, place has fruit trees all around. Ok drive to hobart, about 20 mins. If you are new to driving, going to hobart, there is a traffic light on the highway nearer to hobart, just keep left if you are unsure- that is always green.

The views were awesome,beautiful house we loved our stay there,kids saw dolphins played on the beach and did some rock climbing,while looking for crabs and any other sea creatures.We all loved who close the beach was to the house.We will recommend it to our friends and family too.

    Situated in a very quiet street, Sorrel Barracks is charming! We stayed 3 nights in the old supply store which is the stand alone building on the left end of the Barracks. The kitchen and bathroom were equipped with everything you need when on holidays, and the queen sized bed was very comfy. Sorrel is a close drive from the city, the beautiful village of Richmond, and is only a 10 minute drive from the airport. It was the perfect home base for day trips around the Hobart area. Would definitely recommend!

    Everything! From the comfy bed to the wide array of breakfast choices, the warmth, spaciousness and cleanliness of this accommodation was second to none. The host John made my wife and I feel right at home. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

    A very clean and cosy place to stay. I'm glad that I found this historical accommodation. Although I didn't meet any of the staff or owner there, but I believe they are all nice and friendly. The little basket of goodies and a small loving note tells..... Thanks 🙏 we enjoyed our stay.

    The host a very polite helpful and informative they go right through your accommodation to show you everything and then leave you'll be for the rest of your stay unless you require assistance or something other. The glass door fire is a bonus with would all split and stacked at ready the fire set and ready to like, was great to just relax and stare i panorama on Sorell is picture perfectnto the fire listening to music as it was a cool too cold night outside all thought it was only a few days short of summer.

    A very warm welcome and we were provided with everything that we required for a short stay, given we were on an early flight the next morning. Closeness to Hobart airport was a priority for us and this accommodation suited very well. Generous breakfast provisions, a very cosy heater on a cold night and lots of items of interest made this a very comfortable stay.

    This was in a great quiet location in easy reach of good roads and only a few minutes from the airport which was a bonus after 28 hours travel from UK. It had a a delightful homely charm and it was quite special staying in such an historical accommodation. The owners were thoughtful and made us feel very welcome. Check in was simple.
