Beautiful resort very close to one of the entrance at Zhangjiajie National Park, 10-15' walk. The services they provided were very good. They pick us up from the airport, and gave us a very good explanation to visit the park. Our room was very beautiful with a wonderful view to the park and the surrounding area. They have the cutest dog 🐶 We recommend to stay at the resort.

Excellent location with a short walk to Zhangjiajie National Park. The nearby village is charming to watch sunrise and sunset. Clean and tranquil environment. Guesthouse beds come with mattresses equipped with heaters for the cold weather. Anthony, the host, not only speaks immaculate English but is also very knowledgeable about the place. He's incredibly nice and helpful in purchasing our national park tickets, planned our itineraries, arranged all our transportation, cooked breakfast and dinner for us, and ensuring everything went smoothly. We really enjoyed our stay at Mountainside Guesthouse and highly recommend it for your visit. That was our first trip to China, and our family had a wonderful and memorable time in Zhangjiajie.

The owner Jenny was amazingly friendly and helpful! She helped us book all the transport, tickets and plan our routes everyday. She even helped us buy other tickets after we left the hotel. My partner doesn't speak Chinese and a helpful local in China is priceless. The service itself is worth the money, you don't even need a tour guide. Good location as well, walking distance to Tianmen mountain cable car station and the main town.

The rooms are very clean and spacious, and the staff are very friendly ,they picked us up from the train station and have helped us arrange our trip . My mom wanted to prepare her own pancakes and they didn’t hesitate to provide her with all the items . The view from the lodge is amazing as well . The room is clean, the decoration is new, the bed is large and comfortable, and most importantly, the location is great, right at the entrance of Tianzi Mountain Forest Park. There are also many options for eating and drinking nearby, and it's very close to the station. The front desk gave us a map of the scenic area and explained the tour routes in detail, which was very helpful to us. The breakfast was delicious, and they even gave us a bag of snacks when we checked out. The value for money is very high.
