Location, staff, the wooden house, the dorms, the excellent food and joint meals (also vegetarian alternative): everything of highest standard. Valentin and his team (including the two dogs) are wonderful and the place is in the middle of nature/wildlife: hikes are varied and you can watch/hear many birds and see beautiful sunsets. The 40 minute ride by mototaxi to the hostel is great, a little adventure included. I will definitely come back, but then stay longer!

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was superb! The location and the views are stunning and the ‘nest’ was very bright and cosy with a great big glass window to enjoy the view. We had all food made for us and it was truly delicious made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Daniel was incredibly kind and helpful with everything, including last minute requests. Thanks for a fantastic few days!

The staff here were absolutely amazing and friendly. Dorms suprisingly comfortable (though curtains for the beds could be nice) with solid shower and bathroom facilities. Location along the river was great, though a walk out of town. Pool and hang out facilities were also solid - though mostly used by Colombian families visiting on holiday on the weekends. Food was good if on the pricier end for Colombia. Overall a nice stay.

One of our most incredible stays! La Casa Del Mono is an amazing cabin perched up atop a hill just outside nunca that makes for a beautiful stay in the nature. With stunning views and a classic but comfortable look, this is the perfect getaway for a relaxing holiday in the nature. Our host Leon was super friendly from the moment of our arrival, gifted us a bottle of wine and showed us the whole place with detail. Also gave us recommendations for the town and touristy attractions nearby.

We LOVED This place. It is close to everything, the rooms are very clean. Nice pool and excellent rooftop to watch the sunset. Highly Recommend. One of the best accomodations ive ever stayed in. The staff is lovely, there was a free Yoga class every morning. They helped with all my questions. Food and Views are amazing. Beds in the dorms have a good arrangement so you still have privacy while sleeping. Big bathroom. Locker and shelf for every bed in a seperate room between dorm and bathroom.
