The location was incredible, secluded and close to nature. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the wildlife and exploring the surrounding area including two beautiful waterfalls. The staff were so friendly and homely, we felt very welcomed. One of our favourite stays in Costa Rica, thank you. Pura Vida :)

Beautiful location in the middle of nature! 45min drive to Manuel Antonio National park, where its best to buy tickets online in advance. Next to the accomodation there is a real nice (short) hiking trail which leads to a viewpoint, waterfall and River Pools where you can take a fresh Dive. The horses and dogs around are nice! Markus prepared a nice dinner 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. Breakfast was also really nice!

Markus was a great host, which is not a given in Costa Rica. The bungalow was clean, the kitchen well equipped, the beds large. I would recommend ordering dinner in addition to breakfast. The whole place is located in the jungle where you can take a great hike to the waterfalls where no one else will disturb you. So you can go for a short trip here or just relax by the pool which is big enough for swimming. One of our best accommodations in Costa Rica and we would love to come back.

Lovely accomodation close to Quepos and Manuel antonio. The price is very reasonable The pool and gardens are beautiful. The kitchen is well equiped. The host's Mother came to greet us and she was the nicest person we met in costa rica ! Loved our stay here would highly recommend

Excellent location right in Quepos town, 3 minutes to the Malecon and 6 minutes walk to the bus station. Groceries, banks and many restaurants nearby and the hosts offer dinner and breakfast. Super helpful and welcoming host family and a very homey feel in the accommodation. One of the houses has AC in the bedrooms and the other has it as an option, but we were fine with just the fan in the double room. The (older) kids also loved the ping pong table and the very sweet dog. We all really enjoyed our stay!

Family-owned hotel/hostel, the owners are very friendly and helpful and try everything to make your stay worthwhile. Location is a 10 minute walk away from the bus station / center of town. Rooms are airconditioned which is not always the case with accomodations with similar prices.

The rooms and kitchens were clean and the accommodation offers so many spots to relax and sit outside watching and listening to natures sounds. The hosts were incredibly helpful by offering to book activities and giving recommendations on what to do. The host even took us for his usual walk, showing us the town. Everyone working there is really inviting without being insistent. We even extended our stay because it was just so relaxing and had such a nice vibe.

We stayed a second time (unfortunately only another night) because we liked the place so much. Miguel is a great friendly host, he has beautiful dogs and his camp and the location are simply a paradise. If you don't fear basic accommodation, go there!!
