The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes of walk away from the old town. The instructions to get there and where to park were very good. The hosts were quick to reply when we had a query. The flat was clean and we even had some nice welcome drinks waiting for us in the fridge. There was also a letter from the hosts welcoming us and our little girl. They even hid a surprise for her in the flat to find. Upon booking, we also received a mail with suggestions of restaurants for breakfast or dinner. The extra care from the hosts made this stay exceptional! It was just a perfect experience from beginning to end. We never thought we would ever stay in one of the skew, half-timbered houses that make this town so special, and then we ended up in one that just added to the magic of Quedlinburg.

We are a family of five and the apartment was very spacious for us. It is close to the old city by walk but also very comfortable to go out by car out of the city. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances needed.

I had to change the date and time a few times and the owner was super kind to me, she welcomed me on the day, showed the place for me and provided advisers of restaurants and places to visit. The house was very clean and organized. Also is very beautiful and cozy. It was very close to all the points I wanted to visit, we did our entire itinerary by walking. The city is beautiful and definitely worth visiting. I leave here my recommendation and thanks to the owner!

The location of the Samocca hotel is great. The hotel is located in a fully renewed old building but still keeps a lot of charm. The staff were really understanding with our late arrival caused by the bad weather conditions. We found a spotless room arranged so it would fit a family of 4 and were offered to prebook breakfast for the following morning. It was indeed the best breakfast we had during our whole summer holidays. Would totally recommend.

Beautiful flat in perfect location. Very quiet, clean, neat and tidy. Warm despite the freezing cold weather. Very comfortable inside and perfect place to stay with a little baby. We requested a cot on booking which was in good condition and very clean. Bathroom and bedroom were located on opposite sides of the living room which was ideal for not disturbing the baby. We only used the kitchen for breakfast but seemed well equipped. Parking was easy and on site. Would highly recommend.

The apartment is centrally located in Quedlinburg. A very pretty, historical, Medieval town. Our apartment, Augusta, was a ground floor apartment, very comfortable and very good facilities- kitchen, large bathroom, dining room and lounge- with views to a covered patio. Secure parking is also available. Restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and tourist sites are within very easy walking distance. Our host is very professional, friendly and generous. We enjoyed our stay and wished we were able to spend more time.

Exceeded expectations, especially at the price. Great location. About 15 mins walk from train station and right near centre. Had to telephone host on arrival for instructions. Was nervous about this as not good on the phone and q speak much German, but host kindly spoke clearly in English. Was easy, so there was no need to be nervous about the telephone. I'm a single traveller, so I booked a single room. Was impressed by size and layout and was very clean. The room was on the top floor, so glad to see a nice bottle of water waiting after taking my suitcase upstairs. But it was worth it. I loved the attic ceiling and hearing the birds swoop by the window. The view was outstanding and I really felt part of the history. Plenty electrical sockets. Strong hot shower. Comfortable bed. There is also a communal balcony area for guests to relax. Breakfast is served from 8-1030 and was included in the price. A fantastic continental breakfast with hot eggs if you fancy. Plenty to choose from, fresh and well presented. I loved my trip to Quedlinburg and would recommend this hotel. Great service at a fantastic price. Now, 350 miles to Sylt! Quedlinburg was well out my way on this tour but worth the effort. Magic!

    This was our 2nd visit here. Once in the summer and now to see the Christmas markets. We were as delighted as before. The accommodation is perfect. The host and his wife are wonderful. We would not stay anywhere else. Highly recommended, to visit at any time. The Christmas markets were lovely...we had a marvellous time.

    Very friendly owner and housekeeper. Our room was kindly preferred during cleaning, since we arrived with our baby and we were too early in Quedlinburg. We had Apartment No. 7 and everything that should be in a holiday apartment was there and it was very clean. The street cleaning was at 5 a.m., but our baby had already woken us up and the street cleaning drove past the house in a short time.
