Just open for 7 days we are very lucky to enjoy the brand new hotel! Everything is perfect! Room is big and comfortable. Swimming pool is so nice! Especially the juice and food are so delicious! My wife and I stayed here as a couple. We're not fans of resorts or noisy family destinations, as we prefer a peaceful vacation, and this place exceeded our expectations. The resort is recently built, and even though it was in soft opening, almost everything was open and functioning. The food quality was good—sometimes even very good—and the fresh seafood was very good as well. The buffet-style restaurants offered high-quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes, and we never encountered crowds. We visited in late November and enjoyed very pleasant weather, ranging from 24°C to 28°C, though it was quite windy, something to keep in mind. The sea was a bit choppy due to the wind, but we were always able to swim, and the water wasn’t dangerous or too cold. The coral reef was beautiful and quite colorful. There are also interesting places nearby for excursions, including a stunning nature reserve close by. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, especially the managers, who demonstrated genuine care for the guests and a high level of professionalism. The younger staff were sometimes a bit inexperienced in guest interactions, but they always showed a very human and sincere side. The housekeeping team was exceptional: the place was spotless, including all the common areas, which is not something you see everywhere. Attention to detail was impressive. On my birthday, the staff worked with my wife to surprise me in our room, even providing a complimentary birthday cake with a personalized message! The pools are very beautiful, though they were cold during our stay. However, I imagine they’re perfect in summer. Some pools were heated, and those were pleasant. The gym was well-equipped and suitable for a workout. Our room was stunning, with an incredibly comfortable king-size bed and a huge, beautiful shower in the bathroom. We had a fantastic and relaxing time overall. I gave a 10 because, on top of that positive experience, the price-quality ratio was unbeatable.

Beautiful, clean, quiet, minimalist. Food was fantastic. The staff are attentive. The house reef is stunning. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves most of the time. Wish we had stayed longer and wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we return to Marsa Alam.

The breakfasts are very good and plentiful. If you have the slightest request, do not hesitate to talk to them because they make your life easier. Thanks to Mostafa, we were able to discover 2 incredible beaches with crystal clear water. Also, we went several times to the GOBUS agency to get our tickets to Cairo but without success. The latter was constantly closed. Mostafa called to have the agency open especially for us. Without his intervention, we would not have been able to purchase our tickets. The team is very cheerful and they will always do everything for your well-being. they are very helpful. We needed a hairdryer, Mostafa found one for us. Also, there is room service, which is very rare in Egypt, outside of resorts The place is very clean, very quiet, facing the beach and only 2 kilometers from the center. The bedding is exceptional. I recommend the place with my eyes closed following my experience.

We recently had a 19 day trip around Egypt and I can definitely say that the Iberotel Costa Mares was the best hotel/resort that we stayed at in Egypt and on par with other 5 star resorts we’ve stayed at around the world. We had two deluxe family ground floor rooms with views on the gorgeous 45m long pool for our family of five. The rooms were very spatial, comfortable, clean and had all the modern conveniences you’d want. We spent our days moving from the pool to the beach and back again. The resort’s position on the bay is perfect for swimming with the sea turtles and the sea cows (dugong). There are other reviews that criticise the tour boats being the in the bay but this didn’t bother us - they are far enough from the shore and the bay is certainly big enough for everyone to enjoy. The dive centre, less than 10 minutes walk down the beach at the sister resort, is an added bonus. We had a great excursion to the Dolphin House where one in our group was able to dive while the rest of us did snorkelling. We chose Costa Mares for the location and the great reviews on the food and service. Khalif and his food and beverage team certainly didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed our meals at the Coral Restaurant (buffet) where there is a vast selection of Egyptian and International foods and always freshly grilled or barbecue meat and fish in the evening. The food was fresh, tasty and good quality. Special mentions to Mohamed Allam and both Ahmeds at the Coral Restaurant, Ahmed Mahout at the pool bar and lifeguard Amr who looked after us so well, greeted us with smiles and genuine kindness and worked so hard to ensure that we always received 5 star service. Thank you to the lovely staff for making our stay at Costa Mares such a wonderful holiday.
