We stayed in no. 33, a large 3 bedroom end of terrace house spread over 3 floors. The view from the 2nd and 3rd floor windows are spectacular, the rooms very comfortable and nicely furnished. Top floor is luxurious with 4 post super king bed, walk in wardrobe and a large modern en suite. We found the beds very comfortable. The house was super clean and they changed our bedding and towels after 4 days. The complex is tasteful, clean and elegantly landscaped. The pool was warm and it was a treat to swim with such a spectacular view of the mountains. We often had the pool to ourselves. Location was good for us and not too far from Potes and the places that we wanted to visit. The staff were incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The combination of this wonderful house, the Portsmouth to Bilboa ferry (we allegedly saw 500 dolphins) and the wildlife and wilderness of the Picos Mountains, this has been one of our favourite holidays. We loved our stay here.

Amazing family run hotel, they were very welcoming and caring. You can see they love what they do!! The room was just perfect and modern with a beautiful balcony and a comfy bed. They accompanied us to the room and were very happy to show it to us. Potes is just a small walk away from the hotel or even quicker if you take a car or motorcycle We arrive very tired after a long motorcycle trip and they were kind enough to arrange something for us to eat. The owner cooked herself for us and it was absolutely delicious. We carry medicine with us that needs to stay in the cool and they promptly arrange to keep it in the fridge. I left with the room key by mistake and when I came back I was welcomed with a hug! We felt like family and will definitely return Thank you for everything, our stay was perfect

Exceptional little hotel in la Liébana region of Cantabria. The passionate staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Homemade food and hearty breakfasts will set you ready to explore the historical towns and beautiful mountains, home to bears, wolves and perhaps the last capercaillies left in Iberian lands. A special mention to Mari Cruz and the rest of the team (this may sound like one of those IA generated fake reviews, but believe me, it is not): they are the kind of staff that truly puts all their heart in what they do. Beautiful location with a pool and mountain view, a lively bar and restaurant where as a solo traveller I easily mixed with other guests. The owners are very approachable and went out of their way to assist me. Lots of produce used in the kitchen comes from their own garden.
