As a group of 6 cyclist we stayed at Gite de Traunchanieres last week for four nights - and we really enjoyed this fabulous place. First class. The house and the garden are gorgeous - and the Brittany environment is so quiet and calm. We slept like logs there. Agnes and Claude were first class hosts and the closest village is with supermarket and restaurant only 10 mins away on bike. Ideal. We may well be going back there…... Thanks Agnes & Claude

I stayed in the Tour room which was really lovely and a spacious bathroom. Lots of storage and coffee and tea facilities in the room. The owners were very welcoming and went out of their way to provide the best service. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the facilities were excellent, including the pool. This would be a great place for couples or families looking for a quiet getaway.

The breakfast here was great, lots of home made things like puddings, marmalades, etc. The room came with a kettle so you could make your own coffee/tea. The bed was reasonably comfortable, we stayed just one night but slept pretty well. The staff was also exceptional and they all spoke English. Location was good. The hotel had a (very) small elevator but it worked fine!
