The location is fantastic overlooking the sea in the form of Loch Gilp, the old pier and lighthouse and backing onto the picturesque Crinan Canal - hard to find better! The staff are lovely (but run off their feet) and the rooms immaculate after refurbishments a few years ago. When we arrived we got straight in the hot tub before the rain started! It was clean and the views were fab across the loch. Our room was big, with a loch view and bath in the window. The bed had plenty of pillows and the TV was decent. We modified one of the breakfast choices slightly to be vegetarian and that was fine with the staff, hollandaise sauce was amazing and plenty of it!
