Perfect location, accessible parking, and a lovely welcoming and helpful staff. The rooms were lovely, great bathrooms (very important!) and a perfect breakfast for each of our party. All for a very affordable rate. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Centrally located and I loved my spacious room and equally spacious bathroom.John was the consummate host and I loved our chats over breakfast before exploring the beautiful local area. I had the best views out over a local land mark and enjoyed the privacy of the entire top floor suite to my self.Parking was convenient and free just metres from my accommodation.

A quaint and beautifully decorated cottage with such thoughtful finishing touches and colour schemes. We had a very comfy stay on a rainy night, the place warmed up very quickly with heaters. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and we enjoyed the fresh eggs. We loved the privacy most, having purchased ingredients to make dinner in the local Co op just up the road, we made dinner and breakfast and liked being somewhere so peaceful. We would definitely stay again, using it as a good stop off point between Blackpool and Sutherland. Would love to know what colour blue the kitchen was painted, inspiration for home? Thank you Neil and Kathryn for being perfect hosts and we will be back in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moffat House. The staff were lovely. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and polite. The accommodation was excellent. It is tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable, and well located . Breakfast and dinner were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stay here often when in area . We travelled back from a lovely but tiring holiday ìn Scotland and had a superb room to catch up with sleep and soak in a lovely bath . An expensive room yes but worth every penny .

The cottage accommodation, in a courtyard setting at the rear of the hotel, was perfect for our overnight stay, but we would have happily stayed longer. The hotel menu provided plenty of choice, we enjoyed our evening meal and the substantial breakfast set us up for our long journey home. The welcome pack was excellent and much appreciated. Happy to recommend to others.

Everything. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Accommodation was really good value for money, with lots of extras. Good pub food. We've been touring Scotland. The Balmoral was our last stop before heading home and was definitely the best place we'd stayed.

Everything was perfect, Maureen was a brilliant host the accomodation was nicely presented and immaculate, breakfast was very tasty and delivered with a smile, even our dog got a sausage made for him, there was fresh milk bread and orange juice in fridge jam and condiments and cereal in cupboard, would definitely stay here again, thank you Maureen
