Great location for me - I was looking at properties in the area. Julia welcomed me just as I had arrived - very friendly and helpful. She checked on a number of occasions that I had everything I needed and said to contact her there was anything at all she could help with. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary kitchenware - probably the best I have seen in this regard. I was very comfortable. The bed linen and towels were of good quality and the bed very comfortable. I met Julia's husband and family members in passing - all very friendly.

I cannot fault this accommodation whatsoever ! A superb room which exceeds anything you'd expect from a pub location. Brilliant coffee machine , quiet, first class comfort and nothing was too much trouble for our host Nathan. Superb breakfast. We will return.

    Really superb accomodation and breakfast, not far off A34 but traffic noise not a problem. We would stay there again even if we had to fit the ferry round their availability! We were a few minutes late due to road closures but night staff were able to let us in.

    The staff were polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Food was excellent and the accommodation rustic style but very modern with under floor heating and an excellent wet room shower. Fantastic location as we were using the A34, a great stay and would definitely use again.
