We loved our stay at Anchor Hotel! Our room had a beautiful view over the habour. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We could walk to dinner- a great place called Lullabelle’s on the foreshore. Short drive to Kennacraig ferry. Great breakfast too. Highly recommend!

Being on the way to Tarbent literally in the middle of nowhere I was impressed that the host was so nice as to help me out with the taxi for the next day and get the cashback as the taxi charged only cash...The room was nice and cosy, wi-fi was good. The vivid example for the other accommodations. Much acknowledged!!

    Starfish rooms are situated right in town, so you can walk everywhere from your accommodation. We stayed on a Friday and it was very quiet in the room, which made for a good sleep. A warm welcome from the host, who explained how to use the coffee machine on arrival and gave great information on the local cafes and restaurants. Great value for money.

    Wonderful, quiet location down a long drive before you get to Tarbert. Instructions left inside directed us to the woodland walking path to Tarbert. A very pretty walk. Informative information on where to park and eggs for sale. Comfortable accommodations with plenty of room for the three of us.
