Everything was perfect. Excellent hotel, design, room, space, hygiene, pool, food, stuff, location. The Suites is 15 min (walk) from the beautiful beach Ambelakia. The area of the hotel is out of the strict Monemvasia but it's around 6 km near.

The location was perfect, just 50 yd from the entrance gate. The old house was spacious and full of character and everything worked. The owner, Georgia, was responsive and very helpful. She sent us clear information on how to find and access the property, and her recommendations for places to visit and restaurants were much appreciated. She also went the extra mile to help us when we foolishly left a bag behind. Monemvasia is a fabulous place to visit.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kissamitakis Guesthouse in Monemvasia! My husband and I travel quite a bit, but this place was something truly special — probably one of the most unique and unforgettable experiences we’ve ever had. The guesthouse has so much charm and character. Everything feels authentic and thoughtfully cared for. Our room was spotless and cozy, and the best part was the open veranda with a stunning view of the sea and the old town. We loved sitting there early in the morning — watching the sunrise over the water was pure magic. Honestly, it felt like a dream. And of course, a huge thank-you to George, our wonderful host. He made us feel genuinely welcome from the first moment — warm, kind, and always ready to help or share local tips. You can tell he truly cares about his guests. We left Monemvasia with full hearts and beautiful memories. Can’t wait to come back someday. Highly, highly recommended if you want to experience the real beauty and soul of Greece.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in Greece. Thank you to the owner for providing such a great house. The value for money is super high, and the owner is meticulous in the quality and details of the decoration. The decoration taste is also outstanding, providing items that exceed all hotels. As a picky perfectionist, I am deeply moved, everything is perfect. We had a pleasant two-day vacation, and perhaps we will come back again in the future.

The locations was really good. Its handy that Byron runs a wine tasting venue below the accommodation. The location is really nice and well worth a visit. I would recommend staying here but pack lightly as taking luggage's through the the hilly, rocky streets are tricky. Although there are porters scattered around but they were not available when we came so we ended up having to take everything by ourselves. The rocky streets adds character and makes the area beautiful.

This is very quirky and sweet accommodation. We felt like we were in a fairytale staying in a castle. The location was convenient as it is quite close to the entrance of the castle. The bed was very comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive.
