We loved to stay there with our family of five. We were welcomed by a great family and had a most lovely walk both in the city but especially in the rice fields around the house. Mister Adi and his family are most helpful for organising the rest of the trip in Flores. You can truly believe their great advice. Last point. The dinner at home is just excellent. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

The hosts, Ayu and Jofan, and the rest of the family are increídible warm and wecoming. They are super helpful with tips, booking transport, renting scooter, everything. Jofan keep helping me trough WhatsApp even when I was no longer in Ruteng. (Of course I went back and stay another night) They cooked family a delicius dinner for no cost for the guest (both nights!) and give with homemade snacks during the day. The restaurant the own is amazing as well. As for the installations, everything clean, confortable and nice. When I wanted a hot shower they heat up a bucket for me! Thanks you very much for eveything. It was my favorite homestay in Indonesia 🥰

Homestay done right. What an amazing hosts Jeff and Erne are. The homestay is away from Ruteng but in the middle of rice terraces and nature. Jeff ensures you have the best time at his place and his wife Erne makes the best local food with all her heart. Do not miss out on the Tempe (the best we had in Indonesia). The rooms are very comfortable and the views are also amazing. Jeff will take you to the rice terrace hike in the morning. do not miss out on it.

We stayed two nights with Peter and his family and we miss it already! It was the best homestay we stayed at in Flores!! We felt soo welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. The room was nice and Had everything we needed. We joined a wedding and a ceremony which was soo nice to experience! We also had a walk to the ricefields. We really enjoyed the area as its in a quiet area of ruteng. We can highly recommend staying here and we will be back for sure. Thanks for everything:)

One of the top homestays we had on our Flores trip. A cozy room with good comfortable mattress. Hot shower was working well, the seperated toilet and bathroom very clean , its a SHARED bathroom and toilet with other rooms, but only one other room was occupied. Internet very good. Very friendly couple, they speak basic english and they reserved us a luxury bus to Labuanbajo and they drove us to Kopi Mani Coffeeshop to rent a motorcycle. Nice breakfast (pancakes and local Flores coffee) was served in the courtyard. The house is in a quiet residential area, around 20 minutes walk from the city center. Quiet at night.

Tersedia, Flavi and Andrea are a lovely family! We felt right at home, they invited us to take part of their daily life. We talked a lot and about very interesting subjects, we laughed, we ate together, we played card games with Andrea... We loved it so much that we decided to stay one more night and we would have stayed even more if we had the time! Peter is an exceptional host and staying with him and Karolina was truly a special experience. We were shown so many lovely places, the atmosphere was comfortable and very warm and all the tips about things to do were very valuable. Also slept very well in the bed :). Best place we’ve been in Indonesia and we feel like we’ve made new friends through this experience. Highly recommend!

Beautiful family who speak English really well, they’re super welcoming and helpful. Good kitchen facilities, comfortable beds, hot showers and a yummy breakfast included. Off street parking for motorbike too which is nice. Stayed twice as we loved it there so much, would recommend to anyone!

We loved our 2 stays at chachas - Jofan and the team were so welcoming, food was divine, rooms were simple but everything you could need. They had heaps of tips on where to go, and helped my partner find a local doctor. Would stay there again in a heartbeat - felt like home.

A great homestay with a very friendly and welcoming family. We had two rooms with a shared bathroom, all next to the living room that was quiet and comfy to sit. Bedrooms were not spacious but good, beds were slighty soft but we did sleep very well. Nice breakfast. Homestay is located close to the city centre, in a quiet minor street.

Jeff and his wife are lovely hosts. Their homestay has a great view, clean bathrooms and showers with hot water. The rooms were simple but perfect. They also provide a delicious organic and vegetarian dinner every night (30k) and sunrise trekking in their rice fields (60k). Jeff will take amazing photos of you. Jeff is very knowledgeable and helpful, he picked me up from the main town and organised a shared car to my next location. If you have a motorbike or want to rent one from Jeff, the location is beautiful.
