Fabulous gem in Cobh. We rented the whole guesthouse (for 8 people in 6 rooms) for the price of a couple of rooms in a hotel. Walking distance from the town centre and lots of bars, restaurants and coffee shops. We'll be back!

    The staff and accommodations at the Commodore were top notch. We booked a family room which, unlike the photos, was actually two separate bedrooms along a hallway and a bathroom behind a common door. This was an amazing surprise, allowing us (parents) a bit more privacy (and quiet) at bedtime. Our room(s) overlooked JFK Park, across the street, and the harbor, where a cruise ship was departing. We had both dinner and breakfast at the Commodore's restaurant. Both were delicious and easily met our expectations. Staff were wonderful.

    Safe, quiet, good views, close walk to town but more importantly the host Bernie went above and beyond to present this accommodation and provided food too! A massive storm hit Cork/Cobh area with rains and flooding but this property was safe and made our stay worthwhile!
