we really enjoyed the location itself, closed to facilities and walks in the wood. The house is lovely and very clean, Martha is very kind and prepared us yummy breakfasts! Had a lovely stay in the Bell tent, nice little park on site for the kids, great cooking and shower facilities and the place was spotless. Instant hot water, help yourself to plates, cups,, bowls, cutlery! Fab little set up of tables and chairs to have your meal at if you like. Fridges and cupboard space to store your food, people had large lunchboxes with their bits in them. Toilets and showers were so clean. Rubbish bins all around, bbq area on site also. Little tv room and a laundry room. Absolutely everything you need. Margaret and Lisa were a pleasure to deal with, extremely helpful. Lovely area, castle grounds nearby, pubs/restaurants afew minutes drive and a fabulous forest with a lake to go swimming a short drive away. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a lovely stay.
