Words cannot explain how great our stay was! To give you short and sweet: book it book it! Staff is super friendly and communicative. Shabir helped us to plan our itinerary and gave us great recommendations for things to do in Nubra Valley and around. I want to add, it was our honeymoon and they set up our room with a cute decoration, gave us a bottle of Wine . Food at the hotel was amazing for both breakfast and dinner. The room itself was beautiful and amazing. It was private and gave you the feel of being in the forest by yourself. Location is perfect given you are about 10-20 minutes from most attractions and things to do. The Village tour they offer (free) is a must! I would definitely stay here again!

The Stone Herge Hotel in Hunder in the Nubra Valley is a wonderful place to relax. The staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help, making you feel special from the moment you arrive. The rooms are comfortable, clean and cosy, ensuring complete relaxation after a day spent in the mountains. The restaurant deserves special mention – the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff takes care of every detail, making every meal a real pleasure. The hotel and restaurant are located in the picturesque mountainous area of Hunder in the Nubra Valley, which means that a stay here is not only about comfort and tasty food, but also unforgettable views and a unique atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for hospitality, comfort and natural beauty all in one.

I booked one room for 2 nights but wasn't able to arrive until the second night. I arrived on the second night with friends who also wanted to book a room there. Instead of charging for the second room, they gave it to us for free in lieu of the first nights accommodation (2 rooms for 1 night instead of 1 room for 2 nights). I was very surprised by their generosity as it was my fault that I couldn't arrive the first night. The food was also incredible. Excellent quality and the quantity was insane. It's even more impressive when considering the remotness of the hotel. By far the best accommodation I stayed at during my entire holiday throughout India and Nepal. The customer service couldn't have been better.

Really nice staff, you can see that they try to create a different atmosphere, something more "cosy". The room and bathroom are really spacious. Bed are really confortable.

I had an exceptional stay at Organic Village Retreat .From the warm Welcome to the impeccable service everything exceeded my expatiations. The Rooms are spacious and beautifully designed and well equipped with modern amenities .The Dining experience was outstanding, offering a variety of delicious dishes and overall hospitality made my visit truly memorable .     The place is well kept. All the basic needs are taken care . The ambience is beautiful and artistic. Very creatively constructed place. The host Padma is a lovely lady. The food was very homely and made with warmth and love. A very nice and peaceful place to spend some days. A must stay place if planning to spend a night in nubra valley.

    One of the best resorts I have stayed at! It was great that I did the booking of activities like BBQ and stargazing at sand dunes. We enjoyed the experience, and our stay was great. The staff has been very hospitable , especially Shabir, and we are looking forward to visiting again.

    One of the best eco retreats we have been. We loved almost everything about this place. Be it there aesthetically designed cottages, food or their curated experiences. Village trek by Dolma was an amazing experience. In the evening, we also did the stargazing at the resort and the guide was well knowledgeable. Joydip, Shabir and his team did the incredible job to make our stay incredible.

    I must say, for the first time going to Nubra Valley, my girlfriend found this resort near to Panamik Hotsprings and I was sold. Sorrounded by Tri Mountain range this hotel was the definition of relaxation. The staff were beyond helpful and kind with the accommodations. Sundowner at Sumur Sand Dunes was an amazing experience .We liked everything at this resort and will surely return back.
