From the moment we arrived the tranquility and calmness of the home was such a welcoming place. The hosts are kind & generous and have created an environment that feels so homey with exceptional touches like a sauna, jacuzzi, fire place, waffle makers, piano, complementary laundry facilities, etc. You share the house with other guests and we were fortunate to meet some very lovely travellers.

Lovely little cottage with wonderful owners. It still smells new and everything is in perfect shape. The wonderful red sunset, which we could watch from our patio, was an extra bonus thrown in. Beautiful area, where we saw seals sunbathing ;). Parking right behind the room is convenient as well.

As usual, wonderful cottage, refubished and a bit renovated (well, it's the 6th time we stay at hvammstangi cottages, and they're always great)! Plenty of space inside, cottage and bathroom spotless clean, nice kitchen, microwave and lot of pots , pans and dishware. Nice sofabed (we use it as sofa, and very comfortable for 3 adults). Smart-TV, nice bunk-bed (two people under and one above, but very comfortable nonetheless). Best thing? northen lights! it was our 4th time during autumn-winter and we always were lucky to see them! this time as well. No artificial lights aroud, just nature and its wonderful magic! 20 minutes drive and you could see seals in their natural enviroment, so lovely!! definitely we'll be back! thank you so much again!!

A building in the middle of nowhere. Once entered, the kind owner shows you the beautiful decorated and comfortable house. Shared kitchen, eatingspace and bathroom, good beds, great decoration and poembooks from one of the owners! The weather was and cold, the house was so welcoming :)
