Definitely a memorable experience and would even dare to say, a mandatory stop on your Icelandic roadtrip. Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). It was exceptional. The view was stunning, the bed was extremely comfy, the room was clean, check in was smooth. Waking up to the view was refreshing, the interior design looks great as well. Enjoyed every second there.

The location and views from the property were amazing. The big windows in the main living area were great for watching sunrise and sunset and it was good to be further away from the main road. The kitchen seemed new and it was great to have a proper oven with four hobs rather than just two hobs that we’d had in other properties. The property was very clean. We wished we’d stayed longer than 1 night as the location was so good. The posh hotel across the road served the most amazing hot chocolate.

The place is so clean and tidy. The welcome cake was the best Icelandic food we've tried in Iceland. The people running the place were very kind and friendly. The kitchen was well maintained.

Everything! I remember with a smile the meeting with the host girl, the woman most smiling of whole Iceland with big humor!

The guesthouse is surrounded by hills, is located in a very beautiful nature with a view to a nearby horse's farm. The location is therefore very calm. The guesthouse was very clean, there were two bathrooms and a kitchen, equipped with everything we needed. It was no problem to make a little bit later check-in (after 8 pm).
