Very quiet location, but not far from many interesting places like horse riding, thermal pools, waterfalls, nature interests.. Also the hot tub with 24/7 working is perfect. Rooms, bathrooms and kitchen, all very clean and practically furnished. Nice and helpfull hosts.

Grímsstaðir holiday home - Family friendly is a recently renovated villa in Reykholt, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

Very nice place to stay in the west of Iceland. Quiet, spacious house, tidy, modern. The outside area is fenced it offers a nice little playground.

This countryside property, in the Western Iceland town of Borgarfjördur, is next to the Hvítá Glacial River. It offers free Wi-Fi in the reception, as well as an on-site bar.

The view of the river from the porch was spectacular! This was the only place we stayed where we heard the local wildlife. We also enjoyed awaking to a dog to play with in the morning.

This was the perfect location for a night of quiet and relaxation. Situated in a beautiful valley, on a clear night it would also be perfect for viewing the northern lights. The cabin was cosy and with a generous living area, and the hot tub was superb!

It was quiet and clean location l. Perfect home from home to crash from seeing the sights along from Keflavík airport. The hot tub was great after a long day hiking Glymur! 😊

Fosshotel Reykholt is only a few minutes’ drive from the hot springs of Deildartunguhver and the Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. It offers free parking and WiFi.

Rooms were very large and good size bathroom. Had a door opening into the spa area also. We ate at the restaurant both nights and the food was phenomenal. I am gluten free and they have plenty of options as well as complementary GF bread!
