A nice family-run hotel in a splendid location, very close to the Dome Square. The staff, especially Stepano went out of theitr way to make our stay really pleasant. The breakfast was amazing, the selection of home-made jams really unique. We received all the help we needed and got useful recommendations. All in all it was a showcase how to run a family hotel making the guests happy.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The beds were incredibly soft and comfortable, and the boutique design of the hotel was absolutely stunning – full of unique decorations and stylish details that made the atmosphere truly special. The staff were extremely polite and helpful throughout my stay. They gave me great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, and even assisted with arranging my airport transfer. Everything was handled perfectly and with great care – top-class service all the way. Highly recommend!

The villa is beautiful, as are the surroundings with beautiful plants. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean and very nicely furnished. The villa has an indoor swimming pool, two saunas, a living room with TV, chess, billiards, in short, superb. In reality, everything is more beautiful and spacious than in the pictures. The surroundings of the villa are still being improved, there will be a swimming pool outside. The location of the villa is easy to reach and is close to the city center. Parking is on the property. Breakfast is in a bar outside the villa, very good pastries, typical of the area. I highly recommend this accommodation, we will definitely be back!

I can’t tell you enough how welcome Francesco and Silvia made us feel at Fortaleza Charme House. We had decided quite last minute to squeeze a day in Siracusa into our Sicily trip and booked our room based largely on good reviews and great location. We weren’t disappointed! The property was quaint, our room was lovely, and all major points of interest (spectacular BTW) were just a short walk away. Silvia even messaged us a detailed list of places to eat and drink she thought we would during our short stay - we tried a couple and she was right! The housekeeping staff was equally friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we return to Siracusa. Grazie Mille Francesco and Silvia!

Wonderful stay at this new hotel! The rooms are very clean and the service perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Lia and she gave us the best tips for nearby beaches, restaurants, and what to do in syracuse. Breakfast at the terrace had a beautiful view.

    This place was fantastic! I appreciate a lot my time in Siracusa being at this accomodation. Paolo was an nice person helping a lot during my stay there. The place is close the city center for me, just walking some minutes, and quiet street. I recommend House Aury, this was an amazing experience for me, the place is comfortable and you can enjoy your time there as well.

    Everything about our stay was perfect. The accommodation was beautiful & spacious. It is well equipped & has everything you need. Bed & pillows were very comfortable. We were particularly grateful for the washing machine, as our luggage was delayed by the airline & we only had 1 set of clothes for a few days. It’s close to everything & the customer service is out of this world helpful, especially helping with our delayed luggage.

    The room is modern, quiet and comfortable, with all amenities. The location is within 10-15 min walking distance from Ortigia, the beautiful, historic part of Syracuse, but it is much more affordable than accommodations in Ortigia, and has access to restaurants and shops that are much more affordable than in Ortigia. Within walking distance to the famous archeological museum. Since we arrived late at night, when launderettes were closed, our host was kind enough to wash, dry and fold our dirty clothes.

    The accommodation was clean and stylish and well maintained with daily cleaning and fresh towels. The breakfasts were fantastic and the best we experienced across the 4 B&Bs that we stayed at on our Italian holiday. Best of all though were the hosts Sonia and Nell who were so friendly and helpful.

    The owner of the property was delightful and went out of her way to ensure that we had an enjoyable time during our stay. The apartment was very comfortable, modern and tastefully furnished and had attention to detail to a level rare in holiday accomodation. Parking garage booked on line a couple of minutes walk away.

    We have travelled extensively throughout Europe and this would be one of our favourite accommodations over the years. A beautiful spacious, centrally located apartment that has a level of cleanliness that you won't even find in five star hotels. Despite central location the apartment is quiet thanks to the double glazed windows. Good quality linen and towels and very comfy bed. First time I have given a perfect score of 10.on this site.Thank you Grazia for a wonderful stay!!

    The location was perfect, 50m from a lovely Cala Rossa Beach and in the centre of beautiful Ortigia Island. There were plenty of inexpensive eateries around that specialised in local food. The single room was spacious and very comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need in a self catering accommodation. At the welcome meeting, Luka, the manager provided a lot of very useful information about the local fresh food market and the places worth visiting. A lovely place to stay at during your holidays.
