The villa was spacious, with all needed amenities, and of course the beautiful view on the roof. The kitchen works well for cooking, there is a tub in the bathroom and the bed is comfortable. The reception offers free bath salts which is a nice touch!

Had a fantastic time staying at TAMAKIYA. It is beautiful, spacious and well-appointed accommodation. Was perfect for my family. It was immaculately clean. Thir house has both a western style and beautiful Japanese style room. You can see Mt Fuji from the rear tatami mat room which was a thrill. Downstairs is a lively bathroom as well as washer and dryer. The location is fabulous, just metres from a great variety of restaurants and right next door to DAISO! Value for moneu is excellent. In addition, i was impressed by the kindness of the host who had all the heaters going on for us prior to our arrival. Just loved it and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this property to anyone who would prefer staying in a house to a hotel room.

I had hot spring onsen in my room. The taiko performance was so good. The hot spring bath in the top floor with views to mount Fuji at the dawn was definitely a highlight in my trip.

    More than just accommodation, this Inn is a true Japanese experience in itself; Perfectly located to enjoy Mount Fuji, the space is super comfy and quiet, perfect for a good rest. The traditional bath was an invigorating perk, and the cherry on top was our exceptionally kind hosts who, in addition to sharing the history of their family and the location, gave us precious advice for our Mount Fuji climb and our upcoming stay in Kyoto.

    The accommodations were really great, with comfortable beds (all twins) and multiple washrooms. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and the best part was the view of Mount Fuji right out the front window and deck. Also the location was 10 steps from the Arakurayama Sengen Park, which offers arguably the most iconic views and most photographed spots of Japan.

    I love everything in the hotel. The hostel owner is extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation is great as well. The mattress is soft and the blanket is fluffy. It provides great sleep for the stay. The hosIt provides free breakfast with breads and yogurt.

    Stay at Fuji Matsuyama base was very lovely unique heartwarming experience, that will stay in my heart. Cozy accomodation is pampered by young cool family and giver unbelievably pleasant vibes. Dorm stay was convenient, all was clean. Breakfast, that was prepared by owner, was amazing. I loved it and will definitely come back.

    Staff were exceptionally helpful at check in and showed us to our accomodation. We arrived at night and didn't realise we would have a view of Mt Fuji from our room, which was amazing. A very clean and spacious accomodation that really felt like a home for the few days we were there. Easy to get from the accomodation to the key sightseeing areas we were interested in, we did have a car though. Would definitely stay again.

    Spacious and comfortable accommodation for a group of friends or family with children. Fantastic staff, great communication, and prompt responses and help leading up to our stay. Lovely small range of local gifts and beverages in reception area. Shuttle in the morning handy on the days we didn't have a car. Highly recommend adding on breakfast for convenience. And a cook your own BBQ dinner one night for the experience. Such good views of Fuji-san from our roof top.

    The view from the villa we stayed at was absolutely amazing and we were lucky to have clear days where we could see Mt Fuji from our windows. The accomodation was very well equipped as well.

    We loved our stay here. The room was spacious and clean, the reception staff was extremely helpful and our room/ hotel terrace overlooked Mount Fuji. There’s also a common space where we could cook and eat our meals. This was, by far our best accommodation in Japan
