Jeng manages everything very swiftly. Dinner and breakfast are paid additionally but boy is it worth it! I loved the ambience of the guesthouse. It's charming and very traditional. We walked from Nagiso to Magome and found Magome Chaya easily using Google Maps (but would have found it without Google as it's right on the main street!) Simple but clean accommodation, friendly staff and amazing food. We booked two rooms- one for myself and my husband and the other for our 3 children. The place is in a beautiful location up a steep road but it's not too far.. Conveniently located for the walk. The accommodation is typical Japanese with futon beds which were comfortable. The shared bathrooms were. Immaculately clean. Take advantage of the dinner and breakfast packages as places close up early here, plus the food is delicious and plentiful.
