Comfortable futons, lovely small room though the room is small but got everything we needed. Very clean. The host is a very nice lady, she gave us some tips about the area. Walking distance to JR and Metro stations and supermarket (Fresco)

My stay was great! The room has its own fridge, water dispenser (hot and cold), foldable table, mugs, coffee, tea, lockers (for your valuables), towels, trash bins, hair dryer and heater.. Kenji was real helpful and everything was kept orderly and clean :) he has a washing machine (u have to pay 200 yen for the washer and 100 for the dryer, there were soap pods available to use). Hot and cold showers were working fine too! I did not expect to have the room all to myself, the 3 bunks were unoccupied 🥹 the location was just a few min walk from Uji River, so there were harmless insects but nothing to worry about. Its walking distance from everything Uji Matcha as well 💚 i enjoyed my stay here so much :)

A beautiful location. Rriver view is outstanding! During cherry blossoms, it should be absolutely magical. The room is a great combination of a traditional ryokan and a modern hotel, has everything you need for comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also were allowed to leave our luggage before check-in. We visited public baths and liked it.

    This was the best accommodation of my three week Japan cycle tour. Both traditional and western style rooms were incredible with high quality bedding, beautiful features and gentle lighting. The accommodation is spotlessly clean throughout. There’s free laundry facilities and even beer in the kitchen area 🥰. The staff were helpful with storing my bike.

    I loved that it's in a residential neighbourhood that's a few doors away from Tea Square Morihan and tea plantations in the surrounding areas. The inn was very clean, spacious and felt like home. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay on the outskirts of Uji!

    Clean and well set up place to stay. We found a local restaurant around the corner and had a great time in a local area. Super clean and Host lovely. We took a taxi from station to Uji Tea Inn as it was so hot. We walked to station the next day around 10 mins.

    Owner was friendly and accommodative and even gave us snacks 😊 Place was very clean and comfortable to stay in, just a walk away from the main streets of uji but far enough for some peace at night absolutely perfect! Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to uji.

    I like the living environment. Quiet and the street outside is not busy with heavy traffic flow. The hostesses and caretaker are friendly and show caring to the guests. The living facilities are sufficient for a comfortable stay. Very ideal for a longer stay too. My friend and I share the same feelings.
