How do you rate such a place? Located in Msambweni, on the calm side of Kwale County, SawaSawa beach house is a hidden gem of the coast. Even from the inquiry stage, we got the feeling of ease, that countionued for our 10 days of true serenity stay. The hotel itself is not big, but well equipped with large spotless rooms/bathrooms, common areas where you find pool (ideal for low tide hours) and lounge areas for you to enjoy sunrise/sunset, play boardgames or just chill. Strolls up and down the beach, to the end of the reef on low tide, or through the village was pure joy..! The menu is well designed, so both adults and kids will always have smth of their taste. Feeling safe in every sense (and quite pampered to be honest), we had the opportunity to truly rest! To sum it all, with the most important note: the people make this place of what it is! Stacey, Ezekiel, the Chef and Alex are not just employees doing their best, they are genuine, kind people & we truly hope that we'll meet again ❤️

I loved it from the moment I stepped onto the property – it’s located right on the beach! The welcoming and sweet staff made me feel at home right away, and the seafood was absolutely delicious. The art and creative style throughout the place is so unique – I even got to see some of the other rooms, each one colorful and with its own personality. I only wish I had stayed longer, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon

I had a truly amazing experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a great variety of options. One of the highlights of my trip was the special excursion to Shale Island – it was breathtaking and perfectly organized by the hotel. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and exceptional service.

We were accommodated in the biggest sea-view room above the bar and it was amazing. The hotel is outstanding regarding value for the price, and the staff was nice. A wide variety of food was available for breakfast. A'la carte restaurant is also good and affordable, I can recommend it for lunch and dinner as well.

Very well run boutique hotel with kind, helpful, polite and always smiling staff. They worked for us hard from early in the morning till late in the evening.The garden was very well-kept, it was amezing, we felt like being in paradise. The food was so tasty with wide range. The place is spacious, very clean and comfortable and I especially loved that I had my own pool. The host was such a sweetheart and very professional and provided me with great recommendations, sent me drivers ...etc. Overall 10/10
