Everything about The Find was great! The room was spacious with plenty of room to store your things, and the interior looked exactly like in the pictures (just a note that not all rooms have a hammock). The views from the balcony overlooking the ocean were absolutely stunning. You can also enjoy sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The host and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though the hotel is located next to the main road, it wasn’t disturbing at all. The beach is right next to the hotel, and you can swim directly from the property, just be mindful of the rocks. And there's of course pool as well. And as a bonus, I had the best coffee and coconut of my whole trip here! The hotel truly stands out from the rest – super chill vibes, beautiful aesthetics, and just an all-around amazing atmosphere. Miles has done a fantastic job creating this space. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Animals! We loved it here so much we doubled our stay because the place is just a dream. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "budget rooms" at first, which is just 10 seconds from the pool and dining area. Even though it's called a budget room, it's spacious & very well maintained and has a lovely garden, and the rooms have a large bathroom, a dressing and a terrace. The other days we spend in the double rooms in the main building which are like you're staying inside of a Pinterest moodboard. We got the privilege to meet the Swedish couple who owns the hotel & designed it into an absolute gem. They are just the best people, we talked for many hours & went surfing with them & learned so much about Swedish & Sri Lankan life during our talks. The breakfast included has so many options tot choose from and the coffees are actually the best we had in Sri Lanka. If you would be unfortunate that there is no room available in the hotel, do yourself a favour and come have lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed! Even though we travelled a lot and visited so much nice hotels & resorts, we never had the same experience like we had at Animals! The biggest thank you to Nalin, Samon, Anndala & Arvid for making us feel so welcome! ♥️

It was really fun, the resort is beautifully designed. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the receptionist named Dwemini was smiling, welcoming and helped us with whatever we needed. I highly recommend the place.

The staff Mr sunith was the kind person I have ever encountered at a hotel. He was always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. Great attitude. This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. Everywhere you look is absolutely breathtaking. The people who work there are just lovely and make you feel very welcome and well taken care of. I didn’t want to leave the property but Ahangama is amazing and you should be explored. All in all - wonderful stay and I would go back in a second!

This was hands down the nicest place we stayed at in Sri Lanka! This modern property is nestled amongst the rice fields, only a short drive away from the main road between Mirissa and Galle, and very close to the Koggala lake. The road to get there is a little bumpy, but once you arrive you are welcomed with a real luxury feel. The building is a perfect mix between a modern feel with authentic Sri Lankan touches. The common area is very spacious, beautifully decorated with gorgeous furniture and plants everywhere. It also overlooks the wonderful pool area, with the garden and rice fields beyond. The staff is very kind and attentive, and make sure your needs are answered for. We arrived too early for check-in but were able to hang around the common area and pool while waiting for our room to be ready. The room itself was huge and perfectly decorated like the rest of the property. The bed was very spacious, with the softest and comfiest bedding you could wish for. We had the room with the beautiful outdoor bathroom, which gave a very luxurious and special touch to our stay. The view from the balcony was so special: on the surrounding rice fields and the trees in the garden where we could sometimes see the local monkeys! The breakfast provided is absolutely delicious: you can choose between European or Sri Lankan options, and the daily juice provided is very tasty too (their avocado juice is definitely a must try). There is a coffee machine that is free of service, with hands down the best coffee we had in Sri Lanka. We also had a couple of meals there and everything was equally tasty (only the portions sizes are not always very big so to keep in mind). The staff were very helpful to organise tuktuk rides to the main road as we wanted to use the local bus to get around along the coast (it's very easy to get to Mirissa/Galle this way). All in all we had a great time at Villa Alba and cannot recommend it enough!!

Our first time in Sri Lanka and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Cinnamon Paradise is exactly that! Set amidst lush greenery, this is perfect for anyone who values peace and quiet in nature. Janaka and Champika are two brothers that run this amazing place, and were super friendly and hospitable. The breakfast everyday prepared by Champika’s wife was delicious and the fresh fruit from the garden was a nice personal touch. Also, the family of sweet cats that came to visit us everyday definitely added to this amazing experience. Definite looking forward to coming back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stuthi Villa. We had two rooms, and they were both great. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were extremely accommodating. Loved the pool.

Tharu and Nilu welcome you with a smile and are the most helpfull during the stay. They will do their best to make you feel at home and love having a chat over a cup of tea or a juice. The accomodation is located away from the noise and bustle of town yet is located close to the center and the beach. The room itself is modern and spacious with a comfortable bed. It features a large bathroom as well.

This was the nicest accomodation we had in Sri Lanka. The villa is located in a beautiful garden, it was very calm and the room we stayed in was very spacious with a big private terrace. On the ground floor there is a kitchen so you can prepare breakfast and always refill your water bottle. The owner as well as the manager are lovely and create a very special vibe. There are so many nice beaches around, good surfing vibes and many good places to eat. We loved Ahangama and especially the swallow villa a lot!

Our two-week stay at Eco Villa was a delightful experience, characterized by comfort, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. The rooms were immaculate and welcoming, providing restful nights. The staff were always ready to assist, enhancing our stay with their warm service. The charming dog added a special touch of home. We found lunch by the pool to be our daily highlight, enjoying the serene setting and delicious food. We highly recommend Eco Villa for its exceptional hospitality and comfortable accommodations.

It was a pleasant stay with Ishan and his family. The wooden cabana is surrounded by trees and other plants and you hear the budgies and all the other animals joining. I was even offered a nice breakfast (Omelette toasts and fruit) although it wasn't officially included with the booking. I think the price is a bit high compared to similar accommodations but the friendliness and the nice garden made up for it. Was happy to stay there!

I spent several weeks in the Villa Fauna and my whole stay was just perfect. The location of the villa is super nice and in a very quiet area, but still easy to reach to beach and city. The stuff is always super friendly and is taking care of all the needs of their visitors. They are serving an incredible breakfast every morning and are always super supportive, whenever I had any question or request. I would always book another holiday at this place, I had an unforgettable vacation there.
