We had amazing stay in this beautiful room! Villa is very cozy and comfortable. Also you can use clean and big kitchen with fridge, toaster and microwave. Most of all i liked the manager and owner Silva, he answered on all our questions and helped us a lot, also we was really happy with local food and especially breakfasts. I highly recommend this villa to everyone, quite cheap comfortable and cozy place ❤️

We spent the last 3 nights of our 2 weeks in Sri Lanka and Jungle Beach Ahungalla was the PERFECT place to end our trip. - Located on the quiet beach of Ahungalla, the whole complex is ideal for a relaxing time : deckchairs, hammock, bar/restaurant on the beach, yoga, massages. the common spaces are all outdoors but naturally shaded by wonderful trees. - Clean, comfortable, well furnished, nicely decorated room with attentions to details and all the necessities - The restaurant of the hotel is the best we had in Sri Lanka (local food but with the European simplicity). Menu à la carte with a fixed selection and a menu of the day, as well as "fish platter" with fresh seafood and fish from the day. - Included breakfast was delicious : fresh fruits, eggs/omelette and everyday a different Sri-Lankan specialty (coconut-rice and curry, pittu/puttu and curry etc) - All the staff members were amazing, friendly and available. The owner was very kind, present and helpful

- Nice room with AC - Hot water (not so common in Sri Lanka) - Located next to the sea, two beautiful beaches close by (sunbeds provided) - One beach is a turtle nesting side - we were lucky and saw a turtle coming to the shore in the evening - Village is quiet with not many tourists - Property has a restaurant, they prepared us dinner on the beach for no additional price - Nice breakfast - Turtle sanctuary near by (we recommend Galbokka Sea Turtle Conservation where you can pet baby turtles) - Extremely lovely manager with a good sense of humour who did everything to make us feel welcome. Would definitely come back.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The owner was incredibly kind and went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. The room was very clean and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to unwind. And the breakfast was the best I had in Sri Lanka – fresh, flavorful, and served with care, on the so cosy garden. I won’t hesitate to come here again and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay.

This is truly a hidden gem. If you book Dinesh's place you will get what is in the photos but at the same time you will get sooooo much more that can't be captured by a camera. You get the honor of being accepted by a local Sri Lankan family as one of their own. This warm hearted family will go to extra lengths to make you feel like in a home away and hard to leave :-). Compared to tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka, Dinuli is offering a unique experience at a reasonable price. Bottom line is if you are after something authentic this is a place for you and not a hotel with 24 hour service. Apart from accommodation, beach is amazing and for a change you can actually swim without being slammed by huge waves. They are manageable. You will not make a mistake if you book Dinuli. Thanks Dinesh and Tatta and whole family for a wonderful stay!

Villa 42 is, in short a hidden gem. For anyone looking for comfort, privacy and wonderful hospitality they won't get any better than this lovely villa just half a mile or so from gorgeous (mostly empty) beaches and several decent restaurants (ask Siri for recommendations). Siri will provide his pampered guests with the best of breakfasts adapting tp personal taste (Sri Lankan style or to more western taste). Siri's well maintained swimming pool will be your refreshing reward after a few hours of Sri Lankan heat.

This is just the place if you are looking for a beautiful simple accommodation that is directly in nature with ocean. Ramesh and his mother are helpful with everything and make you feel like you are part of their wonderful family. They help you organise your trip and show a full effort to make your stay perfect. The breakfast is amazing, you get a huge portion of fruit, tea coffee, eggs and toast with Sri Lankan rice & curry. The property is in a great location, close enough to the beach. You are surrounded by nature and can see monkeys, squirrels and birds. There are great cafes and restaurants in the area. The family is so lovely and hospitable that you can't help but extend it all the time. They invited us to join traditional family celebrations which allowed a unique insight into the culture. The price is more than justified and I will certainly return to Villa 826 ahungalla on my next stay.
