Leel and his family are the most amazing people, and the property is just beautiful! The rooms are what I'd call Sri Lankan jungle-chich, very curated clean and comfy. We had lunch, dinner and a breakfast on-the-go and the food was always great. Leel personally guided our safari and it was awesome, he is very knowledgeable and loves what he does, which is very visible :) He even offered to take us to our next destination with his jeep, providing us with a panoramic fun trip there. We would definitely recommend this property but don't book too much, we're hoping to find it available next time we come too ;)

This place is a real gem. The accommodation was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable. The host was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The safari tour exceeded all expectations and I highly recommend as a safari guide.... very experienced and knowledgeable. I also enjoyed my meals during my stay here. Breakfast is delicious! Overall, I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting udawalawa.

As we really wanted to see wild elephants, we made a stop in Udawalawe, but spotting them wasn't our biggest suprise here. We stayed at the Amba Kola hotel and this was just the most wonderful experience. The kindest owners truely, the nicest room, a brand new and well kept pool, the most delicious food from the entire trip, and playful dogs amongst which the two most adorable puppies  🐶 As mentionned, the food was incredible and we had the chance to take part in the preparation by doing the cooking class with the owner. Something you should really try after a morning safari.  Janik is also so kind, ready to help you with anything, answer any question. He will make everything in his power to make you feel like the most valuable guest on the planet. If you are passing by, really we can't recommend it enough 😍 (we thought the 10 on booking was impossible. Well we thought wrong)

Amazing accomodation, perfect to visit the Udawalawe national park. The small houses are beautiful with a balcony on yhe small river. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food they prepare is really good. They organized the safari for us and it was great. Highly recommended.

Stunning location! Properly isolated and very peaceful. The room is big and spacious with a superb view of the lake and mountains. We had an amazing time here and got to relax and unwind with the family. The caretaker also really went out of his way to look after us. We also got the chance to go to Udawalawe national park and see elephants. Overall the trip was perfect especially at that price! I wish we could have stayed for more days but we have made plans to come again for a longer stay. A hidden Jewel!

It was a perfect stay at Vishmee. Although my stay was late only for one night, I enjoyed the hospitality and comfort in a nature-surrounded atmosphere. What I liked the most was, it was a hassle-free welcome :)

Another lovely accommodation in Sri Lanka that caught my eye. I have never met someone as friendly and kind as "Shaman" (host) before. Definitely recommend this place everyone.
