Best expirence you will have in sri lanka ! First of all the house itself is a peace of art ! You can see the hostes think of every small detail and alot ofoney was invested to make sure gusstes are happy ! From the uniqe decoration to the tje built of the house and matireals of huge stones and wood all over rhe house huge speaker system the mosf beautofull jungle view i had ever seen ! And most importent the hosts ! Lovely couple that you can feel the love and hospitalety they give to the guestes from high qualify diverss meales made by a chef how is the owner to the rides trips and all requesr we had they did more then we ever expected and with a huge smile every timr !! Surly the besf faciliys best foid best view and best hospitalety i had ever recived ! No words will be enoghu ! Thank you jani and malu ! We are for sure going to be your guestes soon ! We really appreciated our time at Sunil’s place, the view was amazing and you are surrounded by jungle. The first night he took us on a night walk to look out for wildlife ! We had dinners, lunches and breakfasts with his family and every meal was different and so delicious ! We visited Sinharaja with Sunil, he is a famous bird guide in the area and we weren't disappointed by his eye for wildlife. He is incredible ! His knowledge and understanding of the bird sounds is crazy. We walked for about 14 kms and saw many lizards, snakes, birds, dragonflies, butterflies and monkeys. We shared a lovely time together, being connected with nature and wildlife. We really recommend this place for those who love wildlife. Thank you so much for our stay !

The staff was exceptional! The location was unreal. Access was a bit struggle but the staff assisted as much as possible. Owners may consider providing a ATV (if possible)

This wasn't our first stay, so we obviouly like this place. The manager Anand couldn't have been kinder. He looked after us like super VIPs. He was everywhere making sure that we were fine. A big thank you to him. We forgot a swim suit and he offered to send it by courier service to our next hotel, which he did. The hotel itself is small and not for everyone. The rooms needs a complete rework - they don't do this place justice. They are in a poor state. But the location is incredible and I hope, this will never change - please never cut ANY of the trees! This is the biggest asset- the jungle and all its noises, the beautiful light filtering through the canopy.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The quietness, the nature, the view on the mountain from balcony. Super nice staff. We walked from hotel 2 km to sinharaya rainforest unesco heritage entrance. We were mesmerized by the nature in the rainforest and the surrounding. The hotel is a Super place.

Such a lovely hotel, everything is even more beautifull in real life than in the pictures. Everything was very clean. And the surroundings are also stunning. The hotel is very close to the Kudawa entrance of the rainforest, where you can hire an official guide for 2500 LKR (entrance is 1250 LKR pp). The overall experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very friendly owner and his family, they help you with everything. The room was amazing, very comfortable. Food was great. Location is the best, right outside the Forest Reserve, next to a river with lots of beautiful birds. The tour is great too!

I stayed at Sinharaja Pitadeniya Hut in Lankagama during our research work in Sinharaja, and it was an excellent experience! The location is ideal—conveniently close to the main road and within easy access to both the Lankagama and Pitadeniya entrances of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. This made it very practical for our research activities. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was included in the price and featured authentic local dishes, which were both delicious and satisfying. The host was incredibly friendly and supportive, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
