We stayed in the villa at the top, which offered a stunning view thanks to the large panoramic doors and windows. We stayed in Room 19, which turned out to be spacious and cozy. It had all the necessary amenities: air conditioning, a comfortable bed and mattress (just like home), new beautiful and comfortable furniture, nice bathroom with a large shower, a bidet, and a washing machine. We were pleased to have a kitchen, a refrigerator, and household items. The territory is simply magnificent, it was looked after every day, the place is full of beautiful trees where birds sing and build nests. You can see how grows mango, papaya, lime, bamboo, etc. It’s like a paradise. There’s also a pool on the premises. It was nice to dip in and spend time there. Staff:
 The first thing that comes to mind about the staff is their smiles and politeness. I thank everyone who works in this place for their kindness and friendliness. Sasini always tried to assist us with any inquiries: helping with little requests, organizing excursions, and you could talk to her about the culture and traditions in Sri Lanka. She was very responsive and kind, even giving me a small gift to remember our stay. Driver Sandaru was always friendly and quickly took us to the necessary places in a tuk-tuk. He recommended visit a turtle hatchery and took us to nice beaches: Dalawela Beach and Jungle Beach, which are not far from the villa. He even gifted us some incense, it was nice. Every 3-4 days, we were offered cleaning, and they vacuumed, changed the sheets, towels, and wiped all surfaces and mirrors. However, you could also request cleaning earlier if needed. Breakfast was included in the price:
A buffet was offered mostly local food, but it was always varied. One day my wife mentioned that she likes the Aralia flower, and later the staff presented it to her just like that, it was a very kind and nice gesture.

Per accident we stayed in Unawatuna for a night and found this hidden gem online. The only thing we didn’t like was, that we couldn’t stay another night. All of the staff were so so nice, especially the owner. The rooms were amazing, the breakfast was one of the best we had and the place was very clean and beautifully decorated with flowers. We are seriously considering coming back. 100% recommend

    The accommodation was beautiful, with lots of room for me and my family. We asked for another bed and were not charged extra, and it was done with limited fuss. The breakfast in the morning was great and had everything for everyone. The pools were also lovely with an amazing view. We had lunch by the pool while staying there, and the food was great. My daughter and I had facials and a sports massage, and this was really good value for money, and we really enjoyed it.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Neli Guests House. Everyone was very friendly! We were even picked up from Colombo airport in the middle of the night. Thank you again for that.     The best accommodation! The property is beautiful and feels cozy and homey, it’s a place to relax and enjoy Unawatuna. Owner is incredibly nice and hospitable, made our vacation even better and more memorable by sharing lots of interesting information about Sri Lanka. We even extended our stay and loved it there!

    Best accommodation we stayed in during our time in sri lanka. Especially compared to other accommodations for a similar price it’s definitely worth every penny. it’s in a quiet area but still close enough to the busier part of unawatuna to easily get there with a car or tuk tuk in 10 minutes. the staff really cares and fulfills all your wishes, beds are comfy, pool temperature is perfect and everything is in great condition. we loved it here!
