Staying at Ceylon Resort Wilpattu was like being welcomed into a family. From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff made us feel right at home. The warm, familial atmosphere was truly one of the highlights of our stay. To our surprise and delight, we were even given an upgrade for our accommodation, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and perfectly designed to blend comfort with the natural beauty of the surroundings. A special mention goes to the Roshan's wife, whose cooking was absolutely phenomenal. Every meal was a feast of authentic Sri Lankan flavors, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an extra touch of love. Dining at the resort felt like sharing a meal with family, and it was easily some of the best food we had during our entire trip. The service was beyond outstanding. The team went above and beyond to ensure every guest had an unforgettable experience. Whether it was arranging our safari to Wilpattu National Park, providing insightful tips about the area, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, their attention to detail and genuine care were unmatched. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, exceptional hospitality, the surprise upgrade, and world-class cuisine made this stay truly special. We had a great time at this guesthouse in Wilpattu - not far from the National Park. Great to meet Roshan and his team; they really try to fulfill all of your wishes and more. A very warm welcome and time with them. Food was excellent !! and such a big variety; thanks also for arranging our Safari with an experienced guide. You can see monkeys at the edge of the property, there are friendly dogs, ducks... cows around when you go for a walk. Mangoes growing on top of your bungalow...

We had a very nice stay at wild Wadi Wilpattu, Manori helped us to book transport for a good price, she organize a safari in wilpattu, even though the guide wasn't very informative, we had a nice day in the park, and saw a lot of birds and animals. We had a evening boat trip in the lagoon, saw 2 old baobab trees, but only few birds, but a nice sundown. Manori drove us to our next destination, we had nuts, curd and juice from king coconut on the way, and she was very nice and informative, the price for the tour was very fair.

Despite the very difficult situation following the terrible floods Sugath and his dedicated team did an amazing job of looking after us. Even though there were some damaged roads and facilities, we were treated exceptionally well by everyone there including a wonderful day safari to the National Park organised by Wilds Wilpattu. Also to note this park is very quiet compared to others such as Yala as the amount of visitors and their jeeps is far lower and therefore the enjoyment of the safari tour is even greater. We were really impressed with the effort already being made by the local community to repair any damaged roads and feel confident that the area will quickly be up and running as normal and should definitely be on your list to visit.

The safari with the guide that was very experienced, a 10/10 experience. The warm hospitality from the host and his wife. they were kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The authentic Sri Lankan food, delicious and freshly prepared. The overall care,, they upgraded us for free because the room was not used the night we stayed.

Very nice experience we had at this accommodation 👌 The members of the staff are very kind and you get this family warmth feeling when you stay at this place. Dinner is just amazing!!❤️ homemade food full of different flavors and made with a lot of love. For the rest everything was well arranged with the safari tours. 100% recommended 👌
