I spent five wonderful nights at the Sunrise Lagoon and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This hotel is one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. Every detail was taken care of. One of my favorite parts was being able to watch stingrays just a few steps away from the hotel every evening, it was absolutely magical and peaceful. We also went on a turtle snorkeling trip, which I highly recommend. The hotel arranged everything seamlessly for us, including the trip at a very reasonable price. Another excursion nearby was the nurse shark snorkeling tour. I didn’t join it this time, but I’m definitely planning to next time! In terms of location, Sunrise Lagoon is hands down the best hotel on Gaafaru. It’s brand new, exceptionally clean, and perfectly located. Hotel owner, Riyas, ensured everything went smoothly from transportation to all other details, we felt completely at ease the entire time. On arrival, we were warmly greeted with fresh coconuts, and our room was immaculate. The children bed was also spacious and comfortable. The hotel also went above and beyond with meal orders, ensuring that we were never left waiting for our food. Every evening, we had our meals without delay. This truly was a 5-star experience. Gaafaru’s beach is peaceful and stunning, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Without a doubt, I’ll be staying at Sunrise Lagoon again!

We stayed at this small guesthouse from November 19, 2025, to November 29, 2025. It is a very cozy guesthouse with rooms in a European style. Everything was tidy and clean, towels were changed daily, and at the reception, there was a kettle, tea, coffee, Nescafé, sugar, and milk available. The breakfasts were excellent, traditional Maldivian style. The owner of the hotel is amazing—very friendly, kind, and accommodating—he fulfilled everything we wanted or needed. We even went on trips with him, which were fantastic experiences. We recommend it wholeheartedly. Next year we will definitely return! 🥰 Just like in the photos, it is exactly like that in reality!!!

After being welcomed at the jetty we received a wet towel, tasty sandwiches and a refreshing drink. The staff was super friendly and we also liked the island, the room and the breakfast. We got water every day and beach towels.

It was the best vacation in my life! Kagi Maldives is absolutely stunning resort! All the management team is highly professional. We rarely take the time with my wife to leave an evaluation on booking for the hotels we book but given the excellence of this establishment we are obliged to do so! We have rarely seen such a quality service! Thank you to Asif, Makua and Mahmoud for contributing to this wonderful moment. The Villas on stilts are incredible, the impeccable room cleaning service not to mention the restaurants where the food is excellent. Until the deposit of our luggage on the plane for our return, we were accompanied by staff who did not hesitate to wait as long as we did at the airport for boarding. In short, we highly recommend this hotel which deserves its success on Booking!

Everything! From arrival until departure it felt like we were living in a dream. The island looked wonderful, there were many great activities included in the all-inclusive package and the staff was very helpful.

One of the best vacations ever. The island, the views, the sea, the reef, the nature - everything is super. The GRILL restaurant is simply the best with the most attentive employees. The villa on the water is super. I liked the attention to detail (although many of them still need to be worked on, not everything is so perfect). I really liked the spa and excursions too.

The hotel is gorgeous. Villas are super modern and spacious with completely glass walls so you're surrounded by nature. The island is quite big, so you have personal bikes to move around. Everything there is so beautiful and made thoughtful. There are plenty of delicious restaurants: you can find any cuisine, whatever you want. They also have futuristic food tracks and in my opinion 'Go Go Burger' serves one of the best burgers in the world. Our essentialist Ruslan was endlessly caring, friendly, and dedicated, that kind of service is beyond any expectations. There is a kids club on the island; if you travel with kids, that's the best place for your child. It's like a preschool, where they have a lot of things to do: different master classes, drawing, toys, playground, dancing, role plays, football etc. The staff there love their job and have fun with kids.
