Reception friendly and helpful (we had a car problem and they did their best to help). Room compact but very comfortable and ideal for an overnight stop for the England ferry. Beautiful weather and the location made it a pleasant location, view over the port. Beautifully renovated building with fascinating history. Breakfast at Hotel America - just a short stroll away - ideal start to the day!

Great apartment, it had everything we needed and the staff were very helpful. Great location it's about 5 minutes walk to the beach and 25 minutes into the town. There is a bike shop in the town that will bring a bike to you and collect it if you want to rent one.

Our stay here was one of the highlights of a memorable trip. Brielle is an undiscovered gem outside The Netherlands and Poorter Hotel a winner in every respect! It is perfectly located in beautifully restored buildings in the pedestrianised main street. The interior decoration is of a very high standard and the romantic attic bedroom was very well appointed. Many thanks to the check in lady, who carried my carry-on suitcase upstairs!

We have stayed here before and thought we knew what to expect. This is a modern hotel in the lovely town of Hoek and the hotel is convenient for the ferry. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. The hotel was happy to look after our suitcase while we visited the beach.

everything was as I expected, the rooms were very clean, a little outdated but perfect for a night stay the beds were very comfortable and the buffet style breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, lots of cold meats and several different breads. The owner went out of his way to help us when we could not get a taxi.

2 minutes drive from ferry. Lovely breakfast included. Allowed us to stay in the lounge after check out until our ferry. Free on road parking outside hotel. Pet friendly room with access to a closed courtyard.

Location, location, location. This place is less than a 5-minute walk from the Metro station, the ferry passenger terminal and the main shopping area. Large, free car park for those arriving by car. And directly opposite the Berghaven for those arriving by boat! Efficient check-in. Clean and comfortable room. Good Wi-Fi. Our first stay here but definitely not the last.

The hotel room was very nice, we arrived ear;y and the lady let us into our room. The room was lovely a nice spacious bathroom and large bed. I particullary liked the bathroo. The breakfast was well laid out with a self style contiental buffet I would definetly stay there again.
