Matilde B&B could not have been better. We stayed so that we could get to the Chocolate Hills for Sunrise (strongly recommend). We were welcomed beautifully, offered anything we needed and gave advice for the surrounding area. The room was lovely and comfortable. The staff super friendly and even gave advice for the morning viewing. Had breakfast waiting for us as we returned too. Room rate was very reasonable too and even had Netflix in the room too. Could not rate highly enough.

Very different to other places where we stayed. Rural, but looks very new, looked after and accommodating. The home made cooking added to the the experience. And I enjoy the social aspect of the large communal dinner table.

It is 10 minutes away from the Chocolate Hills, ideal if you want to go see the sunrise. Additionally, the area is a central point for visiting different places like the rice terraces of Pilar. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was very abundant and tasty (only lacking milk for coffee). The view from the accommodation is divine; it is a super quiet area.

We are on a cycling tour and the guest house was a great stop. We stayed 2 nights. The owner cooked meals and they were delicious - very fresh with lots of vegetables and salad. We liked the timber building and plenty of space to sit in outside our room.

Overall, I am very impressed with the property. This is by far the only local (Boholano) accommodation that made an impression.

This is not a place you want to stay.
Its very hard to come to the exact location. The Location in booking.com is not the right location. There is not a real road going there. Its a bumpy path you can only reach by walking for atleast 1,5km. After 6:30pm it’s not possible to go out because it’s totally dark outside and you will not find your way to the main road. Inside the place it’s alright nothing extra. But the location is just terrible. There is nothing outside for atleast 2km or more.

staff are amazing who work here, so friendly and helpful. food they would cook was amazing and so cheap for what you buy! would stay again! prime location also.
