One of the best accommodation experienced in the Philippines ! Villa is vast, has good vibes, everything feels new. The master suite is very large. Environment is quiet and conducive to good sleep. Direct access to the sea and good corals makes up for nice snorkelling, with varied marine life, including turtles. Great new scooter available for rent. Last but not least James and Jesse and great hosts, never felt constrained.

Our family of six, including young kids, had an amazing stay at Salum Dauin Resort! The villas were perfect for us—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The resort itself is stunning, with a relaxing atmosphere and a perfect location. The dive spots right in the backyard were a huge plus, and the open lawn provided a great space for both kids and adults to hang out. The pool was a great size, and the entire place was beautifully set up, both day and night. The hospitality was exceptional, and our Aussie friends who stayed with us also had a fantastic time. Highly recommend this resort for families and groups looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

Perfect place to go diving and relax in a nice little “oasis”. Very welcoming staff members, a beautiful garden with a nice pool and some “chill-out” spots like the hammock hut, and a great coffee place. I really liked their concept of offering just drinks (and the best iced coffee I had in the Philippines) and the possibility to get your food from a nearby restaurant and eat in the garden/coffee place area. There’s a nice place right next door offering delicious vegetarian, vegan, and glutenfree options as well as Yoga lessons (Anahaw Restaurant & Yoga Studio). Rooms: I stayed in one of the new rooms and it was very spacious, comfortable beds, good shower, all great. Diving: Great and professional team of Divemaster and Instructors, making diving safe and fun. The gear they offer is top quality and the dive boat is spacious. If you stay for various days, you get your own box with for the gear you rented from them and your “spot” where you can change/hang your things. The diving is amazing - if you love muck diving the shore and coastal dives are the best. I preferred the Apo Island daytrip with the beautiful reefs and great water visibility and biodiversity. Generally, I loved Bongo Bongo Divers’ concept of signing up for the dives you like on a board with 1-2 days of notice or even shorter for afternoon dives - easy and great flexibility.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mike’s. The room was great, the resort is beautiful and very well maintained, the food is good and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The resort and the swimmingpool are right next to the beach. It’s a great base for snorkling, diving and doing daytrips like going to Apo Island. Would definitely recommend!

    came here for the diving, but the accommodation is just as amazing! the people there are incredibly welcoming and help you with whatever you need. One of the best and most organized dive shops I’ve seen in the philippines, equipment is in really good shape, the dive masters do an amazing job and are so fun to dive with + the atmosphere is truly unmatched! Can’t recommend bongo bongo divers enough <3

    Place was very inviting. Room was nice, pool was great. Shared bathrooms were clean and there was no real wait times to use the out door showers. Location was great, a minute walk down to the water. Would definitely stay again You will get visitors in your room but they will keep their distance.

    I couldn’t recommend staying at mikes enough. The whole atmosphere is super chilled out, everyone is so friendly and because it’s a small resort you get to know the staff and feels like a big family. Also met the owner Mike who was very hospitable and took time to chat to guests. The five sites around mikes were amazing also with great dive boats and 3 dives a day

    I had an amazing stay at Amigos Hostel! It was really accessible, easy to reach by bus from Dumaguete City. The staff and Sir Bong were really welcoming, he even brought me to the bus stop and waited for the bus with me. They also arranged my transfer to the diving resorts I went to. Wi-fi was strong and there was available water and coffee.

    This cute diving resort in Dauin, Philippines is everything that you need for the best diving holiday. World-class amazing reef! Excellent and super friendly staff! Great food and coffee; if you have travelled Philippines, having a decent espresso is hard to find. And if you just want to chill and enjoy the beauty of the sea without any fuss, this is the place to be.

    The hotel was the perfect place to relax and enjoy. The environment was cozy and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. The SPA was perfect, the bar was a joy and the beach was great. A lovely place to spend vacations. The breakfast was fine, with basic standard breakfast options plus some international options that vary each day. Overall was a great hotel to stay at, and if we ever go back to Dauin, we will definitely repeat.
