The Casa Amarela Guesthouse was heavenly - exceptional service from Paulo, amazing facilities with every little thing thought of ranging from an iron to a clothes horse to free coffee, extremely clean and very comfortable and spacious rooms. Would highly recommend and will be back whenever in Albufeira!

The whole stay was so incredible, we enjoyed every minute and hope we'll be able to come back. The staff is super friendly and pays attention to details, the communication was easy and fast and also available via whatsapp. We had breakfast and dinner included and the quality of the food was incredible, delicious & nutritious with the most beautiful view opportunities from the restaurants. The hotel is very family friendly and our toddler enjoyed the stay as much as we did. The gym is brand new and has a very good choice of machines also allowing a sweet view during your workouts. The private entrance to the beach is great and opens the floor to a magnificent landscape and very nice beach. Overall we are super happy to have been able to enjoy our holidays here – thank you!

Very clean, cleaners cleaned room daily, fresh towels etc. Loved the fact that there is a private access to The Beautiful Beach from the complex. We stayed half board and whilst the food wasn’t an amazing selection we still managed to make a meal out of it. There are shops on site for amenities, snacks, drinks gifts, ice-cream etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Love that you can use any of the pools from the other Alfagar accommodations.

Maria is a lovely host. It is clear that Maria takes pride in providing her guests with a comfortable stay. The accommodations were right in the heart of Albufeira with restaurants, bars, shops and the beach all just outside the front door. Maria was flexible with check-in and check-out and consistently checked on me and how my stay was going. If you're looking for less of a hotel experience and more of an authentic B&B type experience, Maria's guesthouse is the way to go.

Great spot. The strip is couple a min away but far enough to not hear the sounds. Privat area! Aldi across the street. Old strip on the other side of it. The Hop on hop off bus stop is almost at the door. Just an amazing spot. Highly recommended for a quiet stay! Has all accommodations for children too. So the family stay is perfect at this location. You can see the ocean from there. What else do you need!

No Wi -Fi. This was a necessity for me . My brother has been in hospital and received a defibrillator, sister in law had cancer surgery on October 10th. Needed WiFi in case a medical emergency requiring us to cancel our vacation. Result was we lost our private accommodations and had to move into a 2 bedroom apartment. Wasn’t an ideal situation. Take it or leave it situation. The steep incline to main Silmar and to downtown was less than ideal for us. Booking . com didn’t ‘t really give a full description of the accommodations.

The accommodations were good and the flat was clean and very nice. For us being a bit older it would have been helpful to know you were not allowed to have sun beds or chairs, just put a towel on the grass, so sitting round the pool was not possible. This spoilt the holiday a good bit. The flat is also in a dip with a steep walk out, back up the dip. The nearest beach was down lots of steps also. So for our age group 70/80’s it was not the right place. For the younger folks - you will love it.

The host Luis was fantastic and made us feel so welcome. The whole stay has a very family oriented feel to it, which is something you don’t get from many accommodations. The units themselves are spacious and stunning, and you know that you are in Portugal, with the lovely decor. If you want an authentic Portuguese experience stay here!!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR STAY! Paulo was very attentive and quick to respond. The apartment had everything we needed for a 2 week stay. Loved sitting on our balcony in morning enjoying our coffee. PLUS it is part of a hotel complex...it was like staying at a resort. Pool and swim-up bar are amazing! We can't wait to come back for another vacation! Truly a 5+ star accommodation!!
