Greeted by Patrizia - very welcoming and bubbly and Sophia then arrived to greet and ensure all was ok. Rita was present daily for breakfast - fresh, varied and served with great care and attention. I ended up staying for three nights so that I could see all the sights in better weather and I loved my stay. Bedroom was great and again cleaned with care. Location was perfect. Left my car parked there and happily walked into the centre (and even back uphill twice) and used the 434 bus to go to Pena etc. Thank you Happy Sintra for a lovely introduction to your city.

Excellent experience. Staff very efficient and friendly. From the reception, bar till the belvedere restaurant. I stayed in the Mill! Which is like a tardis! So many floors inside you wouldn’t believe! I like the uniqueness of the property, it felt like home away from home and the views (with no clouds) was great, the staff were lovely and the breakfast every morning was so lovely!

- Straight Forward Self Check In - Comfortable Space including the common area - Pleasant Breakfast We were worried about the cold and humidity mentioned in past reviews, since our stay was in the Mill. The room was provided with both a heater and dehumidifier. Although it was late November, we slept with the heater and dehumidifier off and the window open, since the blanket was warm and comfortable enough.

Gem in the little village Azóia, close to Cabo da Roca. Well maintained property, very nice relaxing zone with a pool, cozy common living room. Tasty breakfast provided everyday. Room had a big, comfy bed and everything what you may need and also nice outside seating. We were lucky about other guests who stay in the place at the same time and were really calm and nice. I can imagine that some bigger, louder group can destroy your peaceful stay.

We stayed in one of the apartments around the outside of the windmill. It was comfortable and clean. Regina was absolutely delightful and the breakfast was great. We loved staying in the national park with a view over the Atlantic Ocean.
