The view is 5 star at sunset looking out over the river with the rumble of the Chanthaburi traffic hurtling past. As a travel Youtuber I look for accomodation that is unusual and visually interesting - and Chanmel Riverside ticked those boxes for me. The check-in staff (and all the other staff!) were amazing and reserved parking for us outside the hotel. Also gave us advice about local restaurants - lots of delicious and very good value local cuisine. The house has been renovated to the highest standards. Design and build quality very good. Interesting "museum" section about the history of the house and family. My third stay in Chantaburi, but first staying in the centre. Owners are sooooo welcoming, friendly, helpful and generous. I just stayed one night, but I would loved spend more time there. Accomodations you get for the price is very very nice. Very quiet location, Clean room, with good bed, clean sheets, fridge, hot shower, local food around . They lent me a bicycle, and brought me to the bus station for free.
