The rooms are everything the add on booking says and more. The host is extremely helpful and visits the apartment everyday to clean up and is always happy to answer any questions you might have. Additionally, the location is perfect - around 5 minutes walking distance to the Medina and in a perfect place to catch a cab to go anywhere in Tunis.

We loved our stay at Karims appartment. It's located in a local neighbourhood on top of a family house, where it has a big roof terrace and some nice views over the roofs of La Goulette. This view we enjoyed very much :-) The appartment is well equipped and really safe. And the best thing was, that Karim was super hospitable, there was great communication and he did everything to make us feel at home :-) It's a short walk to both Carrefour and to the TGM train, that can take you directly to Sidi Bou Said or Tunis.

This little riad is just magical - stunningly beautiful and cozy, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the room was precious. I was awed by the beauty and comfort. The A/C worked great, which was crucial in +47C (110F( heat). The staff was very accommodating and plain sweet.

    The best accommodation we could have had! Clean room, delicious homemade breakfast, and the place is beautifully decorated. Ahmed is an excellent host, he helped in everything we needed to make our stay as smooth as possible and gave us recommendations for Tunis.     This accommodation is absolutely unique in its authenticity. It´s a beautiful historical buiding, one of the rooms looks like somewhere in Alhambra in style and high quality decorations :) The owners are very nice and kind people. If ever back in Tunis, I would definitelly love to stay here for a couple more days. From some other comments I was confused about the locality. But it´s simple, it´s really in the indicated street, in the house with huge yellow door, which from outside might look a bit abandoned.

    Very large rooftop with plenty of seating to relax on a nice day. The library was stocked with an eclectic collection of books. Breakfast was delicious with a chakshuka and omelette for the two days we stayed. The guest rooms were very well decorated with great quality amenities. A wonderful addition to the Dar Ben Gacem portfolio of accommodations.

    The staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The facilities were well-maintained and clean, which is always a positive aspect of any accommodation. Considering the reasonable price, I found the amenities and services provided to be of great quality. In particular, the availability of a small gym was a nice touch. The terrace on the top of the building was a great spot to relax.

    We had an amazing stay at El Patio. Ahmed, Basma and her sister were extremely kind, helpful and contributed to make our vacation in Tunisia exceptional. Ahmed in particular gave us a lot of tips to help us discover hidden places in the Medina and we really appreciated having him around. The place is cozy and has a nice familiar vibe. Highly recommended!
