Room small but comfortable. Kitchen facilities and decor good. Price is good value and goes towards supporting a children's charity operating in Bagamoyo working with orphans and disabled children. Definitely a good travellers place to stay near town and beach.

This was my second time staying at this lodge and I came to realize that there's a lot of renovation taking place like the furniture, amenities, and internet, the rooms were so clean and very comfortable, and the staff (Noel) was incredibly helpful, Amazing rooms (there was even a Flat TV and Free Wi-Fi now), and the internet was very good with 5G speed. Excellent location is located at the city center, at an affordable price in which is very cheap. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Bagamoyo.

I liked the accommodation very much, the owners give you an idea of home coming, you can see they're trying to update step by step. If you want to experience living with Tanzanians. This is the place to be. The breakfast was marvellous.

That was very cheap accommodation. For this price I cannot complain.The owners was very helpful and friendly. Very good location. What you can expect? The rooms are small, not air conditioner, not hot water , specific toilet. All worth this price.

Bagamoyo Home Stay provided the best possible experience any guest could dream of. Lunch on arrival, driven to shops, sharing dinner and wonderful conversations with family and friends, hot tips for places to see in town, driving to the bus stop and many more personal touches from a family that genuinely cares for their guests comfort and enjoyment. I highly recommend this accommodation for a real and genuine home stay family experience.

Ismael surprised as in a positive way first when he picked us up from Bagamoyo to bring us to the accommodation. The house is in a rural area, which makes watching the stars at night to a valuable experience! We were very happy with the stay. Also, Ismael showed a lot of flexibility, taking us spontaneously to the saadani park himself for a lovely safari. On top of that he was easy to reach on phone and it was very uncomplicated to coordinate issues with him. Asante sana!
