It is commendable how just within about a month of operations the resort has achieved so much! We were there for about 8 nights. And it was amazingly peaceful. From a lovely beach view, access to the ocean at all hours, friendly staff to the care and attention we got, the stay and our experience was superlative. A special mention to the Chef and his kitchen staff who make 5-star rated food available to every guest for all meals. The presentation to the taste, we used to keep waiting for the day's special everyday. One of the most memorable holidays we have had and definitely going back soon to experience this rendezvous with nature in the best possible setting. Went as strangers, came back missing friends at Zanzibar.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room decoration and the sea view were simply stunning, making it a truly special experience. The common areas, especially the dining space, were beautifully decorated and had such a relaxing atmosphere, also overlooking the ocean. The service was outstanding — the staff were always attentive and willing to help with any needs I had, which made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better: just 100m from a diving center, 200m from the local village, and right by the sea. It was the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing yet unforgettable stay by the ocean.

A beautiful resort-type hotel in a boutique style (small and private), which offers more than the others. The arrangement of the hotel's exterior with various types of fruit trees offers a glimpse into a part of the world that many tourists would not otherwise get to know. Passion fruit, bananas, mangoes, almonds, papayas and other species grow there. You can also use the private beach and sun loungers of the nearby hotel, which you can reach in a few minutes on foot, or if you take the provided shuttle a little further, you can enjoy the beauty of Muyuni beach (we liked this one better than Matemwe), in front of which sandbanks are also forming. You can also meet their beloved dog and cats at the accommodation. We used the very nice pool, sun loungers in the shadow of the trees and beach volleyball the most, but they offer several other things (e.g. bike rental, excursions) and board games. There are also many books to read if you don't have your own. The food (breakfast included or additional lunch/dinner offer) is excellent. The hosts are very friendly and willing to help.

I booked this place for a special birthday and the hotel and its staff exceeded all of our expectations! They made us many surprises and everyone was so friendly and always smiling. The staff truly made the hotel special! The food was the best we had in all of Tanzania. Especially the fruity salad with seafood! We also loved the live music show during dinner, really cool music with a local vibe. And of course the pool area is great for relaxing. Asante sana once again!

The staff were amazing. The design of the facilities was beautiful. We loved the Marafiki Bar, such a lovely place for drinks and chilling. The food was also tasty with vegetarian options. The bed was also comfy. Try their massage too! Reef walk was great - they have free activities every day. You can also arrange diving & snorkelling excursions easily. Special thanks to all the staff members but mainly Jems, Magda, Amine and Happiness.

    We stayed for 5 nights at the most beautiful resort in Zanzibar. Thomas' welcome at 11 PM with a birthday cake, songs, and room decorations touched us deeply. His hospitality was exceptional and enhanced our entire vacation experience. His wife also took care of everything for us. We enjoyed the proximity to the sea and the clean beach that the hotel offers. The rooms are designed to a high standard, down to the smallest detail, and the cleanliness is 10/10. If you come to Zanzibar, stay only at this hotel.

    The hotel is beautiful, a lot of attention is put in the details. The pools are big and there are beds and chairs available to enjoy the sun. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. The restaurant prepares delicious foods. The hotel offers daily activities, such as a village tour, yoga, etc. Our room was spacious, we had a balcony and view of the sea. We were very happy with our stay and were able to relax and enjoy the hotel and the beach! If you are looking for relaxing holidays, don’t hesitate to go to Marafiki!

    Leigh and her employees were so caring and helpful. They made our stay so comfortable and relaxing. Special shout out to the receptionists, they were super lovely and hard working! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday.

    We stayed five nights all inclusive board. The hotel is a boutique hotel with a beautiful ocean view and relaxing atmosphere. All the staff is doing their best to make you feel comfortable and happy. Food is served a la carte, selection is sufficient and delicious. Drinks included in the package is limited with local selection but is also sufficent. The front desk helps you out with daily island trips to perfect your stay and vacation. Thanks to all who made our stay a special event.
