This is a review for anyone who wants to visit the area, know that this is the right place, Mrs. Missy is incredible, she has an impressive human quality, from the moment you arrive she makes you feel at home, her facilities are very nice and clean, a few meters from the beach, excellent location, you can rest perfectly and at the same time you have all the fun just a mile away, 10 minutes walk and you enjoy seeing the restaurants, stalls and the people around you, I will definitely return with my family to this place and I absolutely recommend it. Having my economy room upgraded to an oceanfront studio by Jessica immediate set the tone for an exceptional stay at Alouette. Even if the room had not been immaculately clean; even if the on site cafe did not serve a wonderful hot breakfast; even if the location had not been so well located—the Alouette Sunrise rooms would still garner rave reviews. The beach is right there, out your back door—the sound of the waves lull you to sleep at night. The room was spacious and well equipped with a kitchenette, and nicely appointed with granite in the bath and soothing neutral tones and simple furnishings—and a private deck to enjoy those incredible sunrises and sunsets.

Our arrival was during a late, rainy night, leaving us drenched and utterly fatigued. Initially, we had booked a different hotel, but it turned out to be a complete misrepresentation of what was shown in photos and described. Consequently, we couldn't bear to stay there. However, our experience took a delightful turn when we arrived at this place. The owner warmly greeted us, making us feel as though we were her very first guests of the day. During our checkout, she took a genuine interest in our grandchildren, treating them as if they were lifelong friends. She even extended a kind invitation to prolong our stay. It was evident that she genuinely cared about our well-being and didn't want us to have a negative experience in OOB (Old Orchard Beach).

The hotel is right by the sea, so it's perfect for long walks on the beach without having to drive for ages. Watching the sunrise either from the veranda or from the beach was an absolute highlight. The staff are very friendly and helpful with anything you need, especially housekeeping. There is complimentary coffee/tea at the front office in the mornings since they do not serve any breakfast. But there are plenty of choices withing a 3 mile radius.
