I had the pleasure of staying at the Zarafa in Hazyview for two nights, and I could have easily extended my stay for a week if time permitted. The experience was flawless, with exceptional attention to detail that truly set it apart. The villa was absolutely stunning, offering complete privacy to enjoy the pool, dine on the gazebo, and unwind in a serene setting with breathtaking views, all while being completely isolated from any noise or distractions. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a spacious his-and-her vanity, a bath stocked with an array of luxurious salts and gels, and a large, well-appointed shower. Dinner was a standout experience – a five-course meal that would satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. As a fine dining chef, I must say that every dish was executed to perfection. Barrie, the owner, went above and beyond to personally introduce himself to all the guests. He made sure everyone felt welcome and took extra care to accommodate any special requests. He even arranged an early breakfast pack and provided binoculars for our early game drive. If you have the opportunity to stay at Zarafa and choose not to, you’re truly missing out on an exceptional experience that goes far beyond just a place to stay. As an added bonus, we were lucky enough to spot the resident giraffe during our stay. Barrie shared that she sometimes drinks from the pool, although she didn’t do so while we were there.

Staff where lovely . We did full board and the food and game drives where included . Food was delicious, game drives where great , located just inside the krugar park so no need to go through front gates in mornings which must be recent because we had read you did have to . Would recommend full day drive as you go deeper into the park and gives you best chance of seen everything. Luxury tent was massive

Everything came with ease. We did a self check-in as we arrived at night, the instructions received were very clear. The cottage was super clean, all the items we needed were provided, from kitchen equipment to utensils, a clear definition of a self catering cottage. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well sized not to mention the bed, it was soooo comfortable I could've spent the whole weekend in bed if I didn't have activities booked. Situated in a peaceful area with ease of access to shopping centers, doctors, etc. Bergdale Cottages deserves more than 10 stars in my opinion, everything was on point.

As you can already see from the pictures, the place is simply stunning .. What we can add to that is that the attention to detail is on point, food is exquisite and service is world class. Dirk, as front of house, the chef and the staff all massively exceed expectations, leading us to very much agree with some of the reviews we read before visiting - namely that having visited many many places around the world, this one ranks at the very top!!

We had an 8 hour drive to get to tanemera lodge.Russel and Janice kept checking in to make sure we are safe on the road. We arrived well after supper time but the kitchen staff still waited for us and prepared our supper the moment we arrived. The following day, we were treated with a lovely breakfast and great views of the sabie River below. They made sure our food was in the room for supper after we said we would arrive late again the saturday afternoon Everything about the service and hospitality was amazing

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was perfect! The scenery, the activities for the kids, the accommodation, the staff, the restaurant and the location. If you're looking for a centrally located resort to base yourself from, Kruger Park Lodge is the perfect destination. Stunning to say the least. Everything is neat and clean. Highly recommended

Exceptional. The best accommodation that I have ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful and in a great location for Kruger (20 mins drive). Graskop was 30 mins. There are restaurants and supermarkets within 8 minutes drive. The house is even better than the photos. Blown away. I think that there is an inverter for loadshedding days although we didn’t experience any power disruption. The added daily cleaning, air conditioning and all within a safe gated community with security. Brilliant.

Cannot fault this awesome accommodation. Check-in was superb and super easy. It is a wonderfully warm and comfortable room with a beautiful vibe to the entire accommodation. There is a pool for those hot days. Location is really close to the Numbi gate of Kruger, and close to supermarkets to be able to get snacks and food on the way into Kruger. The 3 course dinner was incredible value along with the really nice breakfasts. Would happily stay again!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Mango Cottage,. It was one bedroom but was very spacious and well equipped. We had our laundry done and that was perfect. Location is very convenient to Hazyview and other local holiday tourist attractions.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bergdale. It was very good value for money and we have already recommended it to friends both in SA and the UK.

Comfortable camping (glamping) accommodation- warm bed and some home comforts while being able to get a sense of being out camping. Kids wanted a camping experience with not so camping-fit parents. Lovely, refreshing stay in a natural heartland, close enough to explore both the Panorama route or Kruger. Accomodation as shown in pictures. Kid zone and Pig (the dog) were loved by kids
